Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop Warm Wishes

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities November Blog Hop as we showcase the Warm Wishes Kit. Our wonderful Design Team is excited to share their alternative projects and ideas to help inspire you to think outside the box and create your own beautiful projects. This beautiful holiday themed kit is filled with so many possibilities and I hope you will enjoy our blog hop this month.
I have been feeling under the weather this week, so I wanted to share a quick and easy project using the exclusive stamp set from this kit, to show that you don't need a lot of supplies or a lot of time to create fun alternative projects for the holidays. Gift Tags are always in demand at our house at this time of year, so I like to make up a batch of clean and simple designs that we can use as needed. Today's tags feature Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Blueberry Bushel cardstock and I die cut the tags using the Tailor Made Tags Dies. To step them up a bit, I heat embossed the image and sentiment and added some trim to finish them off. I love how the embossing pops against the different colored cardstock. Which one is your favorite?
Products Used:
November Paper Pumpkin Kit Warm Wishes
Tailor Made Tags Dies (item #155563)
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock (item #146968)
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (item # 119685)
Shaded Spruce Cardstock (item #146981)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim (item #161633)
For the Shaded Spruce Tag, I used Silver embossing powder to heat emboss the door image and sentiment and added some Silver Trim for the hanger. I love how Silver looks with Shaded Spruce, which is one of my favorite Christmas greens.
Cherry Cobbler is my favorite Christmas red, especially for elegant, vintage style projects. I paired this tag with Gold embossing and Gold Trim for the hanger. It's amazing how a little embossing can transform a simple tag.
For my last tag, I chose to use Blueberry Bushel cardstock with White embossing for the sentiment and image. I love the icy Winter theme of this color combination and the Silver Trim helps step it up. Blueberry Bushel is a wonderful blue for Christmas and I am so happy we have it back in our core collection.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my project will help inspire you to explore the wonderful possibilities with this kit and create your own beautiful projects.

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Winners Blog Hop November 2023

Today I am honored to be taking part in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Blog Hop for November. I am so grateful to all of you who voted for my card design this month, which you can see in this post
You will have the opportunity to visit with the Top 10 Winners and see what they have created with the theme "Thanks" to help inspire you to get creative.
Over the past few days we have had cold, snowy weather and I managed to get sick with the latest virus going around. So I decided to create a clean and simple Thank You card using the beautiful Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper. The design I chose reminds me of how it looks here in Colorado in the Winter months and I love the colors in this pretty paper. For the sentiment, I chose to use the Charming Sentiments stamp set and die cut it out using the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes Dies to step up the card design. A little ribbon and bling and you have a beautiful Thank You card to send to brighten someone's day.
Products Used:
Charming Sentiments stamp set (item #159985)
Sentiment Silhouettes Dies (item #158733)
Nested Essentials Dies (item #161597)
Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #162133)
Misty Moonlight Cardstock (item #153081)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #161680)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
White 1/2" Iridescent Ribbon (item #161955)
Tinsel Gems Three-Pack (item #161624)
Mini Glue Dots (item #103683)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Measurements:
Misty Moonlight Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment - stamped & die cut using Charming Sentiments stamp set & Sentiment Silhouettes Dies
Matte Layer - die cut with the Nested Essentials Dies
I love the designs in the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper and the hardest part was choosing which design to use for my card. In the end, I chose one of the soft botanical prints for the card front and layered it onto a Misty Moonlight card base. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder and die cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it up with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and attached it to the Misty Moonlight label to frame it. To add a pop of color, I used the Light Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends Marker to color a piece of White Iridescent Ribbon and attached it behind the Misty Moonlight label with Mini Glue Dots and then attached it to the card front with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the card design, I added several Misty Moonlight Gems for a touch of bling. I love using designer series paper to create beautiful card designs. It's the perfect way to create lovely clean and simple cards.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own wonderful cards to send to family and friends.

Share It Sunday November Blog Hop

Welcome to the Share It Sunday November Blog Hop as we share what projects we have been creating. Our Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas and hopefully you will see something that will inspire you to get creative and play with paper, stamps and ink to create your own wonderful projects.
Lately I have been working on Christmas cards and projects for the holidays. I recently had my first in person card class at my studio and we had so much fun creating the card I am going to share with you today. I love sharing how to create simple fun fold designs and this Book Binding Fun Fold is easy to create and has so many wonderful options for decorating to personalize it for any occasion. I chose to use the beautiful Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper as a pretty non-traditional color option for Christmas.
Products Used:
Very Best Occasions stamp set (item #159871)
Joy Of Noel stamp set (item #161959)
Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (item #162133)
2 3/8" Circle Punch (item #161354)
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock (item #146968)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Blueberry Bushel Classic Ink Pad (item #147138)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
White 1/2" Iridescent Ribbon (item #161955)
Festive Pearls (item #159963)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" (Scored at 5 1/2" & 6 3/4")
Sentiment Circle punched out with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch
Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 4"x4"
Side Panel - 1" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Inside Panel - 4"x4"
The Book Binding Fun Fold is simple to create and is a wonderful way to step up your cards. I chose to use one of the designs from the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper and used both sides to decorate the front panels. For the side strip, I used the Blueberry Bushel design and for the main panel, I chose the pretty print that coordinates perfectly. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder onto Blueberry Bushel cardstock and punched out with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. To create the "spine" of the book fold, I added 2 strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on either side of the narrow panel of the card base and then added a piece of Iridescent Ribbon and tied a knot on the front. I then removed the backing from the adhesive strips and adhered it down to create the binding for the card design. For the inside panel, I stamped the small berry branch twice and colored the berries with Blueberry Bushel Classic ink using a Blender Pen. To finish off the design, I added Silver Festive Pearls for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my pretty fun fold design will help spark your creativity and inspire you to create your own beautiful Christmas cards. There are so many wonderful options to explore in the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog.

Stamptastic Friends November Blog Hop CASE A Stamptastic Friend

Welcome to the Stamptastic Friends November Blog Hop and this month we are CASEing a Stamptastic Friend. In case you are not familiar with the term CASE, it stands for Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit, and it's a wonderful way to spark your creativity. Our Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas inspired by one our fellow Stamptastic friends that will hopefully help inspire you to give it a try.
For my card design, I decided to CASE my friend, Ginny Harrell, and create a beautiful Winter themed card design based on the card she created in this blog post here
I love the simple layout of this beautiful card design and thought it would be perfect for the idea that I had in mind. My favorite color is blue, so I had fun picking out two blues that I thought would look perfect together for my design. To CASE Ginny's card, I chose to use the layout, textured background and emboss resist technique to create my card. I hope you enjoy what I came up with for my CASE.
Products Used:
Beary Cute stamp set (item #162016)
Very Best Occasions stamp set (item #159871)
Chic Dies (item #158815)
Nested Essentials Dies (item #161597)
Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder (item #162026)
Azure Afternoon Cardstock (item #161719)
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock (item #146968)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Azure Afternoon Classic Ink Pad (item #161663)
Blueberry Bushel Classic Ink Pad (item #147138)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
White 1/2" Iridescent Ribbon (item #161955)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Strip - 2" x 5 1/4"
Sentiment Label die cut with the Nested Essentials Dies
Azure Afternoon Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" Embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder
Basic White Cardstock
Strip 1 - 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Strip 2 - 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" Emboss resist with the Beary Cute stamp set
Snowflakes die cut with the Chic Dies
I had so much fun CASEing Ginny's beautiful card design and chose a Winter Wonderland theme for my card. When I think of Winter, I think of snowy days and pretty snowflakes. For the background of my card front, I chose the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder to add some subtle detailed texture to the design. I love heat embossing, so I had to recreate the emboss resist technique that Ginny used to creat my focal panel. I chose the snowflake images from the Beary Cute stamp set and heat embossed them with Clear embossing powder. Using a Blending Brush, I applied Azure Afternoon and Blueberry Bushel Classic inks to help bring out the detail in the embossed snowflakes to make them pop. I layered the focal panel onto a layer of Basic White cardstock and then attached it to the strip of Blueberry Bushel cardstock to frame the main design. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Very Best Occasions stamp set onto a Blueberry Bushel label die cut with the Nested Essentials Dies. I added a piece of the pretty White Iridescent Ribbon to the back of the sentiment label to help step up the design and added three snowflakes that I die cut with the Chic Dies to complete the card. For a touch of bling, I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the centers of the snowflakes. I love how this card design turned out and I hope I did justice to Ginny's beautiful card. It was the perfect inspiration.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try CASEing as a way to get creative and try something new. There are so many wonderful possibilities to explore.

Stamping Inkspirations November Blog Hop Color Challenge

It's time to hop along with the Stamping Inkspirations November Blog Hop and this month we have a fun color challenge to share. Our Design Team has been challenged to use 3-5 colors from the image below to create our project. The colors for this Color Challenge are Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Azure Afternoon. I am excited to see what projects and ideas everyone has to share this month.
For my card design, I chose to use all the colors to create a cute and fun birthday card featuring the new Furriest Friends Bundle from the Online Exclusives. I just love all the adorable animal images and today I decided to use the cute bear for my card. I paired it with the Azure Afternoon Striped Designer Series Paper pattern from the Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack. For the coloring, I pulled out my Watercolor pencils to give the bear and soft, fluffy look.
Products Used:
Fluffiest Friends Bundle (item #162850)
Very Best Occasions stamp set (item #159871)
Deckled Circles Dies (item #162286)
Double Oval Punch (item #154242)
Brights 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #161643)
Crumb Cake Cardstock (item #120953)
Granny Apple Green Cardstock (item #146990)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (item #132708)
Watercolor Pencils Assortment 1 (item #161700)
Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 (item #149014)
Blender Pens (item #102845)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Basic White Cardstock
Medium Circle die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies
Bear image stamped and die cut with the Fluffiest Friends Bundle
Sentiment Label punched out with the Double Oval Punch
Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Grass die cut with the Fluffiest Friends Dies
Scalloped Oval punched out with the Double Oval Punch
Azure Afternoon Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x4"
This cute card was so much fun to create and I love how the colors from this color challenge worked together to create a bright and cheerful design. I chose to use Crumb Cake for my card base to help ground the design. I love the Azure Afternoon diagonal striped designer series paper for the background, which gave the feeling of blue skies in the background. I added a Deckled Circle in the bottom left corner and trimmed the edges flush with the card front. I added a piece of Granny Apple Green grass that I die cut with the Fluffiest Friends Dies to add some texture to the design. For the bear, I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the bear using the Early Espresso Watercolor pencil to give his fur a more realistic look. I colored the honey pot with the Granny Apple Green Watercolor Pencil and the honey with the Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil. I carefully blended the colored areas using a Blender Pen to help smooth out the pencil lines and give the image a watercolor look. I attached the bear to the corner using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop him up. For the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Birthday image from the Very Best Occasions stamp set, using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and punched it out using the Double Oval Punch. I layered it onto a Granny Apple Green scalloped oval that I punched out using the Double Oval Punch and then added it to the top right corner with Stampin' Dimensionals. I decided not to add any bling to this card design, choosing to keep it clean and simple.
