New At SU September Blog Hop July-December 2021 Mini Catalog

Welcome to the New At SU September Blog Hop as we showcase products from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. This catalog is full of wonderful products to help you create projects for the upcoming holidays as well as the Fall and Winter seasons. There are so many amazing possibilities to explore. You will be visiting with wonderful Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire.
One of my favorite things about the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalog is the variety of themes beyond the normal holiday bundles and products. One of my favorite new bundles is the Arctic Bears Bundle. It is perfect for a variety of occasions and it works well for masculine cards. The beautiful images and sentiments make it an easy bundle to create wonderful card designs with just a few supplies.
Products Used:
Arctic Bears Bundle (item #156795)
Stitched Rectangles Dies (item #151820)
Misty Moonlight Cardstock (item #153081)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Misty Moonlight Classic Ink Pad (item #153118)
Balmy Blue Classic Ink Pad (item #147105)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Basics Embossing Powders (item #155554)
Subtle Shimmer Sequins (item #156407)

Sponge Daubers (item #133773)
Measurements:
Misty Moonlight Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Bottom snow background die cut with Polar Bears Dies
Top icicles die cut with Polar Bears Dies
Ice berg die cut with Polar Bears Dies
Polar Bear stamped with Arctic Bears stamp set and die cut with Polar Bears Dies
Moon die cut with Polar Bears Dies
I chose to create this card design with a monochromatic color combination. I chose to use Misty Moonlight cardstock for the card base and background to create the look of a dark night's sky. The Basic White cardstock really pops against the dark background and I lightly sponged the die cut pieces with Balmy Blue Classic ink to create depth and shadow. For the polar bear, I used Misty Moonlight Classic ink to stamp the image onto the Basic White cardstock and die cut it out with the coordinating die. I heat embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder onto Misty Moonlight cardstock and used one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies to create the sentiment label. I trimmed it on the right side and attached it towards the right side of the card front. For a touch of bling, I added three of the silver sequins from the Subtle Shimmer Sequins to create the look of stars in the sky. This card design would be a wonderful Winter birthday card or it could be used as a Christmas card design.
