Paper Pumpkin Possibilities May Blog Hop Batter Up

It's time to hop along with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities May Blog Hop as we showcase alternative project ideas created with the May Paper Pumpkin Kit, "Batter Up". I love the baseball theme for this kit and it is so versatile for so many occasions. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects using this kit to help inspire you.
Baseball season is in full swing, so it is perfect that the May Paper Pumpkin theme is baseball. I love all the wonderful elements in this kit and I decided to focus on using the these elements to design my alternative design. I loved the red and white striped background and wanted to create a vibrant design that would work well for anyone, male or female, regardless of their age. I used the baseball and baseball bat elements to decorate my card and I created a sentiment label using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies with Pacific Point cardstock because I liked the way the blue popped against the striped background. This clean and simple card is easy to create and has a wonderful Wow factor that is sure to brighten someone's day.
Products Used:
Paper Pumpkin May 2021 Batter Up Kit
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Pacific Point Cardstock (item #111350)
Real Red Classic Ink Pad (item #147084)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Stampin' Emboss Powders
(Copper, Gold, Silver - item #155555)
The sentiment label is the star of this card with the silver embossing popping against the Pacific Point cardstock label for an extra special touch. I added the baseball and baseball bat elements to the card front so that they would appear to be behind the sentiment label. I attached the sentiment label with the Stampin' Dimensionals included in the kit over the top, centering it on the card front. The small sentiment label was stamped with Real Red Classic ink onto one of the small white cardstock labels and I attached it to the bottom right corner of the Pacific Point label with Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete the design, I added two of the Real Red Matte Enamel Adhesive Dots to the sides of the focal sentiment label. I love the bold, bright colors and simple design of this card and it would work well for so many occasions.
