Stamping Inkspirations May Blog Hop All Things Floral

When I saw this month's floral theme, I knew that I had to use the beautiful True Love Designer Series Paper (item #154281). The designs in this paper pack are stunning and perfect for coloring with Stampin' Blends Markers. I chose to use three of the new 2021-2023 In Colors for this elegant card design and paired it with the Happy Thoughts stamp set (item #154507) which has amazing sentiments for a variety of occasions. For the sentiment tag, I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies (item #155563), a new favorite of mine that works well with this stamp set. This clean and simple card design is all about the beautiful designer series paper and if you love coloring, then you will love creating cards with this pretty paper.

This beautiful card design is simple to create and requires just a few supplies to create. I wanted to showcase some of the new 2021-2023 In Colors, so I chose to use Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya and Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Markers to color the designer series paper and I added Clear Wink of Stella to the colored images for a touch of shimmer. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the Thank You with Gold embossing powder onto a Basic White cardstock tag that I die cut using one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies. These new tags have become my go to dies for creating sentiment tags and I love that there are two different styles to choose from. I die cut one of the small circle enforcers from Soft Succulent cardstock to add to the tag hole and threaded a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon through the hole. I tied a bow with White Baker's Twine around the Soft Succulent Ribbon to create a pretty embellishment that coordinated with the card design. For a touch of bling, I added three small Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the background to finish off the design. This card would work well for a variety of occasions including birthdays and Thinking of You. Coloring with Stampin' Blends Markers can be so relaxing and therapeutic and by changing the color combinations, you could create a beautiful set of cards as a gift.
