PPP May Blog Hop A Kit In Color

Welcome to the PPP Blog Hop as we share wonderful alternative project ideas created with the May "A Kit In Color" Kit. I just love the beautiful new In Colors that are featured in this kit and I am so excited to share my alternative card design with you today.
For my alternative card design, I chose to use the supplies from the kit to create the note card from the kit and step it up a little. I used the Purple Posy note card base from the kit and added the beautiful pattern paper for the background layer. I added the pretty Magenta Madness Bakers Twine from the kit to the background layer, wrapping it around twice and then tying it in a bow on the right side. I attached the patterned paper to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals from the kit.
To create the focal image, I stamped the sentiment using the Misty Moonlight Classic ink spot from the kit and stamping it onto the Whisper White label. I love the detailed stitching around the edge of the label that just adds that extra touch. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I added the label to the card front over the Bakers Twine.
To create the daisy, I used the Medium Daisy Punch (item #149517) to punch out two daisies from Purple Posy cardstock. I sponged the edges of the petals using Highland Heather Classic ink with a Sponge Dauber to add some dimension to the daisy. I used Snail Adhesive to attach the daisies together so that they were offset to create a fuller looking flower. I added one of the cute Magenta Madness Puffy embellishments to the center of the daisy for a pop of color. Using a Stampin' Dimensional, I added the daisy to the card front so that it overlaps the top left corner of the label. This cheerful card design is so much fun and sure to make the person receiving it smile.
