The Joy of Sets May Floral Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with The Joy of Sets May Blog Hop and our theme this month is Floral. You will be visiting with talented crafters from around the world as they share their beautiful projects to help inspire you to get creative.
Today I am sharing a card created using the beautiful Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #149500) paired with the Forever Lovely stamp set (item #148624) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I love how the pretty paper does all the work to create this clean and simple card design.
To create the is card, I chose Merry Merlot cardstock for the card base and attached a piece of the beautiful paper to create the background. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Forever Lovely stamp set onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Gold Embossing Powder and then used a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690) to create the pretty label. I attached the label to the card front and added two Basic Pearls that I colored with the Light Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Marker, to finish off the design. This card is easy to mail and works for a variety of occasions.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to explore creating your own beautiful projects.

  1. Beautiful card. It's one of my favorite sets as well. That DSP didn't originally appeal to me, but your project is wonderful.
