2020 Kre8tors May Blog Hop Floral

Welcome to the 2020 Kre8tors May Blog Hop as we share project ideas with a Floral theme. Whatever the season, flowers are a wonderful way to decorate our projects. I hope that you will be inspired by the projects we have to share today.
For my card design today, I chose to a soft and pretty color combination of Soft Sea Foam, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. I decided to show some love to the retiring Vibrant Vases stamp set (item #148656) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and paired it with the detailed Lace 3D Embossing Folder (item #151815) to add texture to the background.
To create this card design, I started with a Thick Whisper White cardstock card base and added a layer of Blushing Bride cardstock. The background for this card design is a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock that I embossed with the Lace 3D Embossing Folder and attached to the Blushing Bride cardstock layer with Snail Adhesive.
Using the Layering Ovals Dies (item #151771), I die a Whisper White Oval and a layering scalloped Blushing Bride oval. To create the focal image, I punched out a vase using the Vases Builder Punch (item #147040) and embossed it using the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder (item #151823) to add texture. I lightly sponged the vase with Soft Sea Foam Classic ink using a Sponge Dauber to bring out the detail in the embossing. I stamped the floral image from the Vibrant Vases stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the leaves with the Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Write Marker and the flowers with the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker. I then fussy cut the image and attached the vase and the flowers to the Whisper White oval using Stampin' Dimensionals.
To complete the card design, I heat embossed the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock using Silver Embossing Powder and used the Layering Ovals Dies to die cut it and layered it onto a scalloped Blushing Bride oval. I attached both the focal image and the sentiment to the card front using Snail Adhesive. To decorate, I added two small Basic Rhinestones to the sentiment label for a touch of bling. For the final touch, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers and the vase for a little shimmer.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own beautiful projects, no matter what the season. There are so many wonderful possibilities available to explore.
