Joy of Sets Blog Hop Something New

It's a New Year with the Joy of Sets Blog Hop, so we are celebrating Something New as our theme for this month. We hope that our projects and ideas this month will help to spark your creativity and get you off to a great start for 2020.
My card design today features products from the new Peaceful Poppies Suite that is now available from Stampin' Up!'s New January-June 2020 Mini Catalog. I love how all these products coordinate to make creating a project simple and stress free. Today I chose to use the Painted Poppies stamp set (item #151599) to stamp the background using Stazon Jet Black ink and combined it with the Peaceful Moments stamp set (item #151595) to stamp the sentiment on the label with the same ink.
To add some color and interest, I added two pieces of the beautiful Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (item #151324) behind the label, layering them one on top of the other so that the Old Olive striped design creates a border around the poppy design. To decorate the card design, I colored a piece of the Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (item #151326) using the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend Marker so that it coordinates with the designer series paper. I tied the ribbon around the Whisper White label across the top, creating a pretty bow just above the sentiment. For a touch of bling, I added 3 of  the Clear sequins to the background and two of small Poppy Parade flower sequins to the label. These pretty sequins are from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins (item #151325) that is also a part of this wonderful suite of products.
Here are the measurements for this card design:
Poppy Parade cardstock card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Whisper White cardstock rectangle 3" x 1 1/2", torn across the bottom edge
Designer Series Paper - Striped Piece 3 3/4z' x 2 1/4"
                                       Floral Piece 3 1/2" x 2"

This card design is a wonderful clean and simple card design that you can create for a variety of occasions. The Peaceful Moments stamp set features sentiments in a beautiful font that will help you create your projects with this amazing suite of products.
