What's New at SU Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the What's New At SU Sale-a-bration blog hop as we get ready to say goodbye to Sale-a-bration for another year. Today I thought I would share with you a clean and simple card design that requires just a few simple supplies and uses not 1 but 2 different Sale-a-bration products. I used the Gold Foil Edged Card (item #147901) for my card base and I added a layer of Fresh Fig cardstock that I used for my focal layer.

I stamped the large floral lattice image from the Sale-a-bration Level 1 stamp set, Lovely Lattice (item #149730), with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I then added the sentiment from the Part Of My Story Sale-a-bration Level 1 stamp set (item #149719) and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder as well.

To finish off the card design, I added some Gold Metallic Pearls (item #146282) to the centers of several of the flowers for a touch of bling. As you can see, this card design has a classical elegance to it that would be perfect for a Wedding or special birthday.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop March 2019

Welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for March featuring Stampin' Up! demonstrators participating in a wonderful training program to help us build strong businesses and provide support for each other. You will be visiting demonstrators from all over the world as they share their ideas and projects to inspire you.

Today I decided to CASE one of my own card designs using the Love What You Do stamp set from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, paired with the Level 1 Sale-a-bration stamp set, Part Of My Story, which you can earn for Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration. You can see the card I am CASEing here.

I chose to use the Gingham Gala 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper (item #148554) in Grapefruit Grove, partnered with Grapefruit Grove and Whisper White cardstock. I die cut the rectangles using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies (item #148551).

I stamped the floral image and sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder. I colored the floral image with the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers.

I chose to use the Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon (item #144116) to embellish the card front and added half of a Pearlized Doily (item #146936). For a touch of bling, I added 3 of the Grapefruit Grove Pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls (item #146927).

This Spring themed card design is perfect for a variety of occasions and can be created in a variety of Spring colors to create a beautiful card set. I love this clean and simple layout as it provides many options for creating beautiful cards.
