New At SU January Blog Hop Sale-a-bration Day At The Farm

Welcome to the New At SU January Blog Hop as we explore the wonderful products in the new 2023 Sale-a-bration Catalog. This month we have been challenged to create a card design using at least one of the new Sale-a-bration products, as well as a coordinating envelope. Our talented Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to get creative for the New Year.
When I saw the Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper in the 2023 Sale-a-bration Catalog, I just knew I had to create a card with this particular paper design and the Silly Goose stamp set. The bright, cheerful color combination of Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue is perfect for a birthday card and I just love the images and sentiments in this stamp set. I decided to heat emboss the images with Black embossing powder to help them stand out a bit more against the background and make the white goose pop. The envelope was simple to decorate with a piece of the designer series paper on the back flap, adding a splash of color. This cute card design would be perfect for any age and is sure to bring a smile to whoever receives it.

Sentiment Label die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies
Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This sweet birthday card is simple to create and showcases the wonderful Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper beautifully. For the main image, I heat embossed the goose with Black embossing powder and colored him in with Stampin' Blends Markers. I added a touch of Smoky Slate around the wings and tail and then blended it with the Color Lifter to give a hint of shading to the image. I fussy cut the image out with Paper Snips. For the background oval, I colored the background with the Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Marker and then blended it with the Color Lifter to soften it and smooth out the lines. I attached the goose to the oval with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to the oval. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Black embossing powder and die cut it with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies. To assemble the card, I attached the Daffodil Delight oval frame to the card front and then added the Basic White oval to the center. I attached the sentiment to the card front, lining it up below the oval. To embellish the card, I added several of the Pale Papaya Opal Rounds for a touch of bling. For the envelope flap, I added some adhesive and then attached a piece of the coordinating designer series paper. I trimmed around the edge of the flap with Paper Snips to finish it off.

ICS December Blog Hop Thank You

Welcome to the last ICS Blog Hop for 2022 as we showcase Thank You cards to help inspire you. It's hard to believe it is December already and Christmas is less than 2 weeks away. It's the perfect time to create Thank You cards to have on hand to send to the people you appreciate and let them know you care. Our wonderful Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help spark your creativity and help you to create your own beautiful cards to share with others.
This time of year can get very hectic and stressful and one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind is to enjoy some Creative Therapy. Creating clean and simple cards is not only a rewarding experience but a great way to replenish your card stash. For today's Thank You card, I have chosen to use the beautiful Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Framed Florets Bundle. You may recognize this layout as one I have used quite a few times over the past couple of months and I must admit, it has become a favorite of mine. This time, I decided to create a landscape orientated design to show another variation with these products. I heat embossed the sentiment and floral details with Silver embossing powder and colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin' Blends Markers to step up the design. This design would work well for a variety of occasions, for people of all ages.
Products Used:
Framed Florets Bundle (item #162407)
Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (item #161814)
Balmy Blue Cardstock (item #146982)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155520)
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Measurements:
Balmy Blue Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Detailed Oval Frame die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Oval die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
This card is so simple to assemble and doesn't need a lot of supplies. The hardest part just might be choosing which design from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper to use for your background. There are so many great ones to choose from. To create the sentiment and frame, I die cut one of the medium detailed frames from Balmy Blue cardstock and one from Basic White cardstock. This way I have the outer frame in Balmy Blue and the matching center oval in Basic White for my sentiment. I heat embossed my sentiment and floral details with Silver embossing to add an elegant touch to the design. For a pop of color, I colored in the flower with the Light Polished Pink Stampin' Blends Marker and the leaves with the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker. The next step is to assemble the card by attaching the card front to the card base and then centering the frame and sentiment oval on the card front. The finishing touch is adding some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the sentiment oval for a touch of bling. And there you have it! A simply beautiful card that is easy and stress-free to create. The Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper is only available while supplies last, so I would recommend ordering it soon to add to our collection. There are so many beautiful designs suitable for all seasons and both masculine and feminine designs.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful Thank You cards to share with the people you love. The Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and coordinating Framed Florets Bundle, help take the stress out of creating a variety of wonderful card designs.

ICS November Blog Hop Christmas Is Coming

It's time to hop along with the ICS November Blog Hop and this month we are celebrating that Christmas Is Coming! Our wonderful Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to get creative for the holidays and create your own beautiful projects to share with family and friends.
Christmas is my favorite time of year and one of the things I love best about making my own Christmas cards, is that there are no rules as to how you should make them. You can choose traditional colors or Red and Green or go for Winter colors or non-traditional colors. Your designs can be classic and elegant or fun and whimsical or anything in between. The most important thing about creating a handmade card is that it comes from the heart and is made with love. So for my Christmas card today, I chose to create a design that is a mix of classic elegance with colors or Red, Green and Gold, with a touch of whimsy with the sentiments to one of my favorite Christmas songs. The end result is a beautiful clean and simple Christmas card that works well for people of all ages.
Products Used:
Framed Florets Bundle (item #162407)
Framed & Festive stamp set (item #160888)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (item #155776)
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Evening Evergreen Classic Ink Pad (item #155576)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack (item #159577)
Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls (item #161822)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Mini Glue Dots (item #103683)
Measurements:
Soft Succulent Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1 /4")
Detailed Frame die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
2 Detailed Leaf Stems die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Oval die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
For this card, I wanted to create a fun background to add texture to the design. I stamped the leaf image from the Framed Florets stamp set all over the Evening Evergreen cardstock card front and then heat embossed the Falala image from the Framed & Festive stamp set, with Gold embossing powder randomly over the background to step up the design. For the main sentiment, I heat embossed the image also from the Framed & Festive stamp set with Gold embossing powder in the center of the Basic White cardstock oval. I attached the Soft Succulent detailed frame to the Basic White oval and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. To decorate the card, I added two of the long leaf stem die cuts from the Framed Florets Dies underneath the top of the framed oval sentiment and added a Real Red bow to the top of the frame with a Mini Glue Dot. To complete the design, I added several of the Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls to the frame for a touch of bling. I love how this card design turned out and I find myself singing the sentiments whenever I look at it. Do you? This wonderful Christmas card design is easy to create and a great way to share the holiday spirit with the people you love.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will inspire you to create your own beautiful Christmas cards to send out to family and friends. There are so many wonderful options to explore.

Global Stamping Friends November Blog Hop So Many Thanks

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends November Blog Hop as we explore this month's theme "So Many Thanks". Our wonderful Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas to help inspire you to create your own cards and gift ideas to say Thank You to the people you care about.
Today I have created a beautiful Thank You card with the new Fitting Florets Collection, that is available for a limited time. I have fallen in love with these wonderful coordinating products and I am having so much fun coming up with new ways to create with them. This card design has more of a fresh Spring/Summer feel to it with the pretty floral design and the color combination of Balmy Blue, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Basic White. The layout for this card would work well for other occasions such as a Birthday or Thinking of You.
Products Used:
Fitting Florets Collections (item #163129)
- Framed Florets Bundle (item #162407)
- Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (item #161814)
- Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls (item #161822)
Balmy Blue Cardstock (item #146982)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (item #155776)
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Night of Navy Classic Ink Pad (item #147110)
Balmy Blue Classic Ink Pad (item #147105)
Evening Evergreen Classic Ink Pad (item #155576)
Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #155521)
Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154830)
Balmy Blue 3/8" Double-Stitched Ribbon (item #159629)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Mini Glue Dots (item #103683)
Measurements:
Balmy Blue Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Oval Frame die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Medium Oval die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Flowers & Leaves stamped and die cut with the Framed Florets Bundle
Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 5"
Soft Succulent Cardstock
1 detailed leaves stem die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
1 detailed leaves stem die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
This beautiful card combines all the wonderful elements in this collection to create a wonderful all occasion design. I love how the sentiment and coordinating frame work as the focal image for the design and the flowers and decorate the frame to step up the design. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Balmy Blue Classic ink onto the Basic White medium oval. I adhered the Balmy Blue frame to the designer series paper card front and added the sentiment oval in the center of the frame, using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up. This made it easier to add the detailed die cut leaf stems underneath to create the layers for the floral arrangements. I cut each of the leaf stems in half to create two pieces in both Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen, and added them to the top right and bottom left sides of the sentiment oval. The flowers were stamped with Night of Navy Classic ink and colored with Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Markers and the leaves were stamped with Evening Evergreen Classic ink and colored with the Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Markers. I attached the flowers with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to the sentiment label and tucked the leaves underneath the flowers to complete the design. To embellish the card, I added two of the Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls to the centers of the flowers and I added some Balmy Blue Double-Stitched Ribbon to create the look of a loop at the top and the tails at the bottom of the sentiment oval. I just love how this card design turned out and I can't wait to try this layout with other designs from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore creating your own beautiful projects to share with family and friends to show your appreciation.

Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Blog Hop October 2022

I am so excited to be a part of Kylie's International Highlight Top 10 Winners Blog Hop for October. You will have the opportunity to visit with incredibly talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their beautiful projects and ideas to inspire you to get creative. I want to say a big thank you to all of you who voted for my card this month and giving me the opportunity to take part in this blog hop. I appreciate the support so much and hope you will enjoy our Thank You project ideas this month.
Here in Colorado, we are enjoying the beautiful colors of Fall, so I thought I would use this as my inspiration for today's Thank You card design. I love creating clean and simple card designs using designer series paper. For today's card, I chose to use one of the designs from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper, which is a Host Reward you can earn for free with a qualifying order/party. I paired it with the Framed Florets Bundle, which will be available for customers to order beginning November 1st.
Products Used:
Framed Florets Bundle (item #162407) Available November 1st
Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (item #159913) Host Reward
Brushed Metallic Cardstock (item #153524)
Granny Apple Green Cardstock (item #146990)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Linen Thread (item #104199)
Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (item #156506)
Mini Glue Dots (item #103683)
Measurements:
Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Oval Frame die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Oval die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
Brushed Copper Cardstock
2 Detailed Leaves die cut with the Framed Florets Dies
The design I chose for the background for this card design has wonderful bright colors that work beautifully for a Thank You card. I like that this design works well for a masculine card and I kept the embellishments simple to reflect that. The Copper embossing for the sentiment and Copper die cut leaves coordinate to help step up the design without being over the top. This simple layout is easy to duplicate with other supplies to create a variety of card designs to suit all occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my Thank You card will help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects to share with family and friends. Sending a handmade card to someone is a wonderful way to show how much you care and can really brighten someone's day.
Please take the time to hop through and visit with our talented Winners by using the Roll Call List below. We would love it if you would leave us a comment and let us know how much you enjoyed our projects. I hope you enjoy the rest of our blog hop.
