Ink. Stamp. Share. April Floral Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. April Blog Hop and this month we have been challenged to create a project with a floral theme. Stampin' Up! has so many beautiful floral products, that it was hard to choose which one I would use for my card design today.
I decided to use my favorite Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog as my focal design. The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (item #146913) has so many beautiful photo realistic designs to choose from and I am sad that it is retiring. This beautiful paper is only available while supplies last, so if you love it as much as I do, I recommend that you order it before it sells out.
The card base was created using the Gold Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes to add a classic elegance to the card design. I attached a piece of the floral designer series paper to the card front with Snail Adhesive so that it lay flat against the card front.
To create the sentiment, I chose the All That You Are stamp set (item #148664) from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and used the Thank You sentiment. I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I punched it out using the Pretty Label Punch (item #143715) and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
To embellish the card front, I die cut several of the small butterfly dies from the Butterfly Beauty Dies (item #148536) from Gold Foil and attached them to the card front. I added several small Basic Rhinestones to the butterflies and the sentiment label for a touch of bling to finish off the card design. This clean and simple card design is a beautiful example of how you can create wonderful card designs with a few coordinating supplies.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you have enjoyed my card design and that it gives you ideas for your own projects using Stampin' Up!'s beautiful designer series paper and other amazing products. If you live in the U.S. and you do not already have a demonstrator, I would be happy to help you with your crafting needs.

Colour Combo February Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo February Blog Hop. This month we have been challenged to create a project using Soft Sea Foam Mossy Meadow and Poppy Parade. You will be visiting Stampin' Up! demonstrators all over the world as they share their projects to help inspire you.
For my card design I chose to use the All That You Are stamp set (item #148664) from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I love the beautiful line art images in this stamp set and it also contains lovely sentiments that work for a variety of occasions.
I chose Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock as a matte for the focal layer of Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the large floral image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Stampin' Blends Markers in Light and Dark Mossy Meadow, Light and Dark Poppy Parade and Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam.
I stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow Classic ink onto a scrap of Soft Sea Foam cardstock that I punched using the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to create the rounded edges. I wrapped a piece of Very Vanilla Solid Bakers Twine around the card front and attached the sentiment on top with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card, I colored some small Basic Pearls with the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Marker and used the to accent the sentiment and the image on the card front.
This elegant clean and simple card design works well for a variety of occasions including birthday, thank you, get well and even as a sympathy card. The All That You Are stamp set is very versatile and provides a lot of possibilities for creating projects.
