Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge 2025 Week 2 - Fresh Freesia

Happy Friday everyone. It's time for Week 2 of the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge as we showcase Fresh Freesia from the Subtles Collection. This soft and pretty purple offers so many possibilities and I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore using it in your own beautiful projects.
For today's card, I decided to create a clean and simple design using the Adoring Hearts stamp set with the coordinating Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. This pretty card works well for Valentine's Day but could also be used for a variety of occasions to help brighten someone's day. I love how the embossed detail adds texture to the card without being overwhelming. I also used my Stampin' Trimmer to add two score lines above and below the hearts to create a focal panel for a little extra detail.

Measurements:
Fresh Freesia Cardstock
Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
3 Embossed Hearts using the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder
Sentiment Label using the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder
Basic White Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" Scored at 1" & 1 1/8" from the top and the bottom (from the reverse side)
This pretty clean and simple card design is all about the embossed detail created using the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. I love that you can emboss multiple hearts and then die cut them with the coordinating dies, which are all included in one product. I chose three of the hearts for my design, one of each embossed design, to add subtle texture to the card design. I also created a focal panel by scoring the Basic White card front at 1" and 1 1/8" from the top of the card front and also from the bottom, using my Stampin' Trimmer. To create the score lines, make sure to do it from the backside of the card front so that the raised lines appear on the front. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder onto the Fresh Freesia sentiment label. For a touch of bling, I added several of the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to complete the card design. I love the simplicity of this card design and how beautifully it showcases this pretty purple.
