Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 49 - Pool Party

We are coming to the end of the year and it's time for Week 49 of the Crafty Collaboration's Monochromatic Color Challenge. This week we are showcasing Pool Party and I love this pretty, soft blue for so many reasons. It is such a versatile color and works well for all seasons but especially at this time of the year.
For today's card design, I wanted to create this sweet holiday card featuring the Sweetest Star Bundle from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I love the non-traditional color combination for this card design and the tone on tone stripe of the designer series paper adds wonderful texture to the card front background. I love using punch bundles to create clean and simple card designs and this bundle has so many wonderful options to help you create your own beautiful Christmas cards.

The Sweetest Star Bundle is so much fun for creating fun Christmas cards and I love the versatility of the punch for punching out the cute images in the stamp set. With the combination of images and coordinating sentiments, you have a wonderful range of options to explore to come up with your own stack of cards for the holidays. I chose to use the striped Pool Party Designer Series Paper for the card front background and I used Stampin' Blends Markers to bring Mrs Claus to life and help make her pop. For the sentiment, I stamped the image with Pool Party Classic ink onto Basic White cardstock and punched it out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I attached both the Mrs Claus and sentiment label with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. To complete the card design, I added several of the Adhesive Backed Snowflakes to the card front and added a Basic Rhinestone Jewel to the center of each snowflake for extra sparkle. This cute and frosty card design is a wonderful way to bring a smile to someone during the holidays.
