Global Stamping Friends July Blog Hop Two New Catalogs

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends July Blog Hop as we showcase new products from not one but two new catalogs. July 1st is the launch of the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog full of products to help us get ready for the holidays as well as the July-August 2022 Sale-a-bration Catalog with exclusive products you can earn free for a limited time. It's a great time to get creative for the Summer and I hope our projects and ideas will help inspire you to explore these amazing new catalogs. 

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so when the new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog was released, I couldn't resist the cute Best Witches stamp set. I used the images from this stamp set with the new Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper to create a card design that can work not only for Halloween but will also work as a spooky, cute birthday card. I am loving the new Glitter Washi Tape and the colors are perfect for so many occasions beyond Halloween.

Stamped Witch and Frog, fussy cut

The most complicated thing about this card design is probably the coloring and fussy cutting of the witch and frog images. They were also probably the most fun. I loved playing with different colored Stampin' Blends Markers including Orchid Oasis, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Party Parakeet, Soft Sea Foam and Blackberry Bliss. The striped design was perfect for the background and really pops against the Basic Black card base. For a touch of bling, I added a strip of the Old Olive Glitter Washi Tape and added the sentiment label over the top. I heat embossed the sentiment with Silver embossing powder to step up the design and added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels for a touch of bling. To help the witch stand out, I added a Basic Black cardstock circle behind her and trimmed the edges flush with the designer series paper. I love how this card turned out and I can't wait to try other color combinations to see what I can create with these wonderful products.
