We Create July Blog Hop Sale-a-Bration Take Two

Welcome to the We Create July Blog Hop and I am so excited to share with you some of the amazing new products from the July-August Sale-a-bration Catalog. Today I have chosen to create a masculine card design with the new Sale-a-bration stamp set, Stylish Sketches, which you can earn free with a qualifying $50 order. I paired it with the new Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder from the new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog, which adds wonderful texture to the background. I added some Gold embossing to the background, adding it to some of the embossed leaves as well as the small background stamp image.

This clean and simple card design is easy to create and I love how the embossing adds texture and dimension to the design. The gold embossing adds a slightly distressed, almost grunge look to the cardstock and helps highlight the raised areas of some of the embossed leaves. I stamped the fox image with Early Espresso Classic ink and colored the image using the Cajun Craze Light and Dark Stampin' Blends Markers along with the Light Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Marker. For the ground I used the Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set with Gold embossing powder onto a 1/2" strip of Soft Suede cardstock and trimmed it to size. This color scheme has a wonderful Fall feel to it and works well for masculine cards. I can't wait to explore using the other beautiful images in the Stylish Sketches stamp set.
