Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. July Monthly Blog Hop as we showcase projects and ideas to celebrate Christmas In July. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects to help you get an early start on your Christmas projects.
The Tidings of Christmas Suite Collection in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is perfect for creating projects for Christmas in July. I love that it provides us with the supplies we need to create cards, tags and gifts in a collection of products that coordinate to make life easier. Today I am sharing a clean and simple Christmas card that showcases how beautifully these products combine and I just love how the new In Color, Evening Evergreen, looks with Cherry Cobbler. The detailed star die cut uses the beautiful new Gold paper from the Gold & Rose Gold 6"x6" Metallic Specialty Paper and coordinates with the Gold embossing for the sentiment.

The Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper has such wonderful designs and I love the colors Stampin' Up! has chosen. I have used this paper pack a lot this past month to create Christmas cards and it is perfect for creating traditional Christmas cards. I chose to used Evening Evergreen cardstock for the card base and I used a layer of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to help make the designer series paper pop. To frame the sentiment layer, I chose to use one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to give that wonderful scalloped edge and adds a nice contrast against the designer series paper. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set. I layered the detailed Gold star on top of the solid Cherry Cobbler star, both die cut with the Christmas Trimmings Dies, and attached it to the top left corner of the sentiment label to step up the card design. To finish off the card design, I added Gilded Gems for a touch of bling. This is a great layout to mass product as your Christmas card design for this year and you can mix and match with the other designs in this beautiful paper pack to create a variety of designs.
