New At SU July Blog Hop Designer Series Paper

Welcome to the New At SU July Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing the beautiful designer series paper that Stampin' Up! has to offer. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
Lately I have been having fun creating cards for Christmas In July and I have fallen in love with the beautiful Tidings Of Christmas Suite Collection in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I love how the products in this suite coordinate to make it simple to create wonderful Christmas cards. The Tidings of Christmas 6"x6" Designer Series Paper has 48 sheets with 12 different designs perfect for holiday projects. For my card design today, I chose to use one of these beautiful designs to create this classic Christmas card. The color combination for this card consists of Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Basic White with Gold embossing.
Products Used:
Tidings of Christmas 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #155718)
Tidings & Trimmings Bundle (item #155716)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Evening Evergreen Cardstock (item #155574)
Soft Succulent Cardstock (item #155776)
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (item #119685)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Evening Evergreen Classic Classic Ink Pad (item #155576)
Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154880)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Large Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Sentiment Label die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Stamped and die cut stockings die cut with Christmas Trimmings Dies
Tidings Of Christmas Designer Series Paper
Background Layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
Soft Succulent Cardstock
Two Holly Leaves die cut with Christmas Trimmings Dies
For this card design, I chose the Cherry Cobbler striped pattern for the background and layered it onto a layer of Basic White cardstock. I attached it to the Evening Evergreen card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Gold embossing powder onto the Basic White label and adhered it to the Evening Evergreen label. I attached the label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals to raise it up. For the stockings, I stamped one of the images with Evening Evergreen Classic ink and I heat embossed the other with Gold embossing powder and then die cut both stockings with the coordinating die. I attached the Evening Evergreen stocking to the card front, sliding it up underneath the lower right corner of the Evening Evergreen label. I attached the Gold embossed stocking with Stampin' Dimensionals so that it slightly layered over the Evening Evergreen stocking and the bottom of the label. I heat embossed the ribbon image onto a scrap of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the Gold embossed stocking on the right side. To finish off the card design, I attached two holly leaves that I die cut from Soft Succulent cardstock to the top left side of the sentiment label. I colored three of the small Basic Pearls with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the base of the holly leaves. I love how you can step up this card design with the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle to make it extra special.
