Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer May Blog Hop as we showcase projects created using products from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their projects and ideas to help inspire you.
As you know, I love clean and simple designs, so today I thought I would share a simple fun fold card featuring two of the new 2021-2023 In Colors from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I am not normally a pink girl, but I must admit, I have been won over by the beautiful Polished Pink and it pairs wonderfully with Soft Succulent, especially for floral designs. I chose to use the Color & Contour Bundle for this card design. I love the artistic images in this stamp set and the scalloped rectangle dies were perfect for the layers of this fun fold.

This fun fold card design is easy to create and is suitable for a variety of occasions. To create the fun fold, you simply need half a sheet of cardstock (4 1/4" x 11") and you cut it at 8 1/4" which leaves you with a piece that is 2 3/4" x 4 1/4", which works perfectly for the focal layer of this card. The designer series paper panel has a wonderful tone on tone design that works well with the floral theme of this card. I stamped the background of the Basic White focal scalloped rectangle die cut with the spots background image using Soft Succulent Classic ink. On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flower image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. I colored the flower with the coordinating stamp with Polished Pink Classic ink and the leaves were colored with the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker. I attached the flower to the scalloped rectangle die with Stampin' Dimensionals and attached the focal panel to the Polished Pink cardstock panel. I tied a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the left side of the panel and added Basic Rhinestones to the focal design for a touch of bling. For the inside panel, I attached the large scalloped die cut to the inside of the card. To complete the card design, I attached the focal panel to the front of the card, attaching it with Stampin' Dimensionals on the left side of the focal panel so that the card can still open. I made sure to line it up so that it was centered over the inside panel to provide a pretty scalloped frame. I chose not to add a sentiment for this card, but you could add a sentiment to the front panel as well as the inside of the card if you wished.
