Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights October 2020

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for October as we showcase Thank You cards. You will have the opportunity to visit with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their designs and ideas to help inspire you.

Fall has arrived here in the U.S. so I thought I would share a beautiful Fall themed Thank You card using the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. I love the gold and copper foil detail in the designs of this paper and it goes the card design an elegant look. I combined it with the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, both from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I love the labels from this die set and they worked perfectly with the sentiments in this stamp set.
Products Used:
Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #153520)
Peaceful Moments stamp set (item #151595)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Shaded Spruce cardstock (item #146981)
Very Vanilla cardstock (item #101650)
Copper Foil Sheets (item #142020)
Cajun Craze Classic Ink Pad (item #147085)
Basic Pearls (item #144219)
Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154889)
Measurements:
Shaded Spruce cardstock card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(scored at 4 1/4")
Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Shaded Spruce cardstock for label
Very Vanilla cardstock for sentiment label
Copper Foil Sheet for punched leaves
This clean and simple card design is easy to assemble and it is a great design to if you want to create multiples of the same design. I stamped the sentiment onto the Very Vanilla cardstock layer with Cajun Craze Classic ink as I thought it coordinated well with the Copper Foil. I accidently used a retired leaf punch to punch out my leaves from the Copper Foil. You could used the Sprig Punch as an alternative or one of the die sets in the catalogs to create a similar look. The small Basic Pearls were colored using the Dark Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Marker to coordinate with the background paper design. I popped up the sentiment label with Stampin' Dimensionals to add a little extra dimension to the design. This layout would look beautiful with any of the wonderful patterns in the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and would make perfect Fall Thank You cards.
