GSF October Blog Hop Changing Seasons

Welcome to the GSF October Blog Hop as we explore the theme of Changing Seasons. Here in the U.S. we have said goodbye to Summer and hello to the cooler days of Fall as the leaves begin to change. As you journey along our blog hop, you will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their projects reflecting the changing seasons in their corner of the world. I hope that our ideas help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects.
My card design today showcases the wonderful colors of Autumn combined with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set combined with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I CASEd a card design that I created back in July, but this time I used Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee to create the warmth of Fall. You can see my original card here. I wanted to create a card that would be suitable for Thanksgiving and the sentiment in the Beautiful Autumn stamp set from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog fit the design perfectly. I just love the beautiful font and how well it coordinates with the sunflowers.
Supplies Used:
Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (item #152517)
Beautiful Autumn stamp set (item #153450)
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690)
Cinnamon Cider cardstock (item #153078)
Bumblebee cardstock (item #153077)
Very Vanilla cardstock (item #101650)
Cinnamon Cider Classic ink pad (item #153114)
Bumblebee Classic ink pad (item #153116)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels (item #144220)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Stampin' Seal (item #152813)
Measurements:
Cinnamon Cider cardstock card base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
(scored at 4 1/4")
Very Vanilla cardstock layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Bumblebee cardstock layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
Bumblebee cardstock for label
Very Vanilla cardstock for sentiment label

This clean and simple card design is easy to create and has minimal stamping and supplies. I used Bumblebee Classic ink to stamp the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set onto the Bumblebee cardstock layer. I love the tone on tone look that this creates and the detail of the sunflower image creates a beautiful background. The sentiment has been stamped with Cinnamon Cider Classic ink to coordinate with the card design onto the Very Vanilla label that I die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the labels to add dimension to the card and the Basic Rhinestones add a touch of bling without overwhelming the simplicity of this design. It is amazing how different these two cards look just by changing the color combination and this design can be used for a variety of occasions by changing the sentiment.
