We Create You Go Ghoul Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the We Create You Go Ghoul Blog Hop to start off October. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you to get into the spirit of this fun theme.
As we countdown to Halloween, I though it would be fun to share a spooky card design to help brighten someone's day. This card features the Have A Hoot Bundle (item #155208) combined with the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper (item #153517) from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. I used the Ornate Frames Dies from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to frame the cute owl images and I love how the detailed backgrounds coordinated with the designer series paper for an elegant, spooky design.
Products Used:
Have A Hoot Bundle (item #155208)
Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper (item #153517)
Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664)
Iridescent Pearls (item #153549)
Basic Black cardstock (item #121045)
Very Vanilla cardstock (item #101650)
White Embossing Powder (item #109132)
Measurements:
Basic Black cardstock card base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic Black cardstock for die cut frames
Very Vanilla cardstock for owl images
The owl images from the Have A Hoot stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and I colored them with a Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Peek A Hoot Dies (when you order the stamp set and die set together as a bundle, you save 10%). I attached the die cut owls to the Basic Black die cut detailed frames using Black Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment was heat embossed onto the longer die cut detailed frame with White Embossing Powder and embellished with the Iridescent Pearls. I attached the frames to the designer series paper  layer with Stampin' Seal Adhesive. I love the glow that the background design gives to this card and the cute owls add just a pop of color to the card design.
