Colour Combo June Blog Hop

It's time for the Colour Combo June Blog Hop and this month we have been challenged to use Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam to create our projects. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as we explore this pretty color combination to help inspire you.
Today's card design features the beautiful new Gorgeous Posies stamp set (item #153289) from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This stamp set is hidden at the front of the catalog and maybe missed as it is a companion stamp set for the Gorgeous Posies Project Kit (item #153131). With this month's pretty color combination, I wanted to create an cheerful design for a Get Well card to brighten someone's day.
To create this card design, I chose Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Whisper White cardstock for the background layer. I used Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Soft Sea Foam Classic ink pads to stamp the various images from the Gorgeous Posies stamp set onto the Whisper White cardstock. I love how the variety of stamp images coordinate to create a soft and pretty background.
The sentiment was created by stamping the image onto Whisper White cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossing it with Gold embossing powder. I love how the gold embossing adds an elegant look to the card design. I die cut the sentiment with one of the small dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690) and layered in onto a larger die cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock using the same die set.
To assemble the card, I attached the background layer to the card base with adhesive and then added the Soft Sea Foam label to the card front with adhesive. I cut a small piece of Whisper White5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to the label with adhesive. I then attached the stamped sentiment label on top using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card design, I colored two of the medium size Basic Pearls with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the stamped label.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will provide you with inspiration to help you create your own projects with this wonderful color combination. Creating pretty backgrounds with a variety of stamp images is a wonderful way to create your own unique card designs.
