What's New At SU February Blog Hop Product Coordination

Welcome to the What's New At SU February Blog Hop as we showcase the amazing new products from the Product Coordination Release. These wonderful products coordinate with select products in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog and 2020 Sale-a-bration Catalog and are available until March 31st or until supplies last. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as we share ideas to inspire you to create with these fun new products.
For my card design today, I have chosen to use the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Happy Birthday To You (item #152308), which you can earn Free with a qualifying $50 order, and the coordinating Birthday Days from the Coordination Product Release. I love that these dies mean no more fussy cutting and provide so many options for creating with this stamp set.
To create my card, I chose to use Thick Whisper White cardstock for my card base and I added a layer of Purple Posy cardstock that I embossed using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder (item #151785) to create a soft background.
The focal image was created by stamping the detailed cake image twice onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images using a combination of Purple Posy, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron Stampin' Blends Markers. Using the dies from the Birthday Dies (item #153590), I die cut one of the images with the die that cut out the whole cake image and the other I die cut just the flowers image using the coordinating die.
In addition, I die cut one of the cake pedestals and two of the fern dies from Silver Foil to complete the design. I snipped off the stamped cake pedestal using paper snips and attached the Silver Foil one to the bottom of the stamped cake image using Snail Adhesive. I attached the flowers image to the cake image using Stampin' Dimensionals, making sure they were lined up. I then attached the cake image to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals, placing it towards the top to leave room for the sentiment.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image using Silver Embossing Powder and die cut it using one of the Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664) and attached it to the bottom of the card front with Snail Adhesive. To complete the card design, I added Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling and a small bow created using the Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (item # 151326). I attached the bow to the cake pedestal using a Mini Glue Dot.
This soft and pretty card design is perfect for a variety of occasions including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and so much more.
