Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop February 2020

Welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop for February as we showcase current Stampin' Up! products to create projects to inspire you. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as the share their wonderful ideas and creations.
Today I created a soft and pretty Spring themed card design using the Positive Thoughts stamp set (item #151490) from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog along with the coordinating Nature's Thoughts Dies (item #153586) that are a part of the New Coordination Product Release. I love the beautiful images and sentiments in this stamp set and the coordinating dies take all the stress out cutting the images.
This card design features Purple Posy cardstock for the card base and I embossed the front with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (item #151775) to add a subtle texture to the background. I added a Whisper White cardstock label that I die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item $151690) and heat embossed the sentiment using Silver Embossing Powder.
To embellish the card design, I chose Blushing Bride Classic ink for the flower and butterfly images and Soft Sea Foam Classic ink for the leaf spray. I die cut them using the coordinating dies and also cut out two of the small leaf die cuts from Silver Foil. To assemble, I cut the stamped leaf spray into three pieces and layered them behind the top left corner of the sentiment label using Snail Adhesive. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the flower on top of the sentiment label so that it overlapped the corner and added the two Silver Foil die cuts to the back of the label with Snail Adhesive. For the Butterfly, I used Mini Glue Dots to attach the die cut image, folding the wings up to add dimension.
This card design could work for a variety of occasions and the colors are wonderful for creating soft Spring designs. I can't wait to explore more options with this versatile stamp set and coordinating dies.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will inspire you to explore creating your own projects.
