GSF Foil and Glimmer Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the GSF Foil and Glimmer Blog Hop as we explore all things that sparkle and shine. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world as we share our projects to help inspire you to add a little bling to your creations.

When I saw our theme this month I just knew I had to use the Christmastime Is Here Suite. These wonderful products coordinate so beautifully to create simply lovely projects and I had so much fun designing this Christmas card for you today.
For the card base, I chose one of the Gold Foil Edged Cards with the matching envelopes (item #147901) and added a layer of the beautiful Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #152154) to cover the Whisper White opening. To create the focal design, I fussy cut out the roses image from another sheet of the designer series paper and attached it to the card front with Snail Adhesive.
To create the sentiment, I heat embossed the image from the Christmas Rose stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Gold embossing powder and die cut it with one of the coordinating dies from the Roses Dies set. I love that you can order both the stamp set and coordinating dies as the Christmas Rose Bundle and save 10%.
Using the border die, I die cut a piece of Gold Foil and cut it so that I had one piece fit along the bottom of the sentiment label and the smaller piece along the top. I attached the die cut with Snail Adhesive and attached the label to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals, slightly overlapping the rose image. To complete the card design, I tied a bow with the Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon from the suite and attached it to the card front with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional next to the point of the sentiment label. As you can see, this card is simple to create with this wonderful suite of products.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you enjoy my Christmas card design and I hope that it inspires you to try the beautiful products in the Christmastime Is Here Suite. They are so versatile and you can have so much fun creating projects for the holidays and beyond.
