Colour Combo December Blog Hop

It's time to hop along with the Colour Combo December Blog hop as we explore a new color combination. This month we have been challenged to use Petal Pink, Merry Merlot and Early Espresso to create a project to inspire you.
My card design for this color challenge features a Sneak Peek from the upcoming January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, which will launch January 3rd, 2020. The Dressed To Impress stamp set (item #151666) has wonderful images and sentiments to create fun, fashionable projects. I chose to use the shoes for my focal design but there are so many other wonderful choices to explore.
For this card design, I started with an Early Espresso cardstock card base and added a layer of Petal Pink cardstock that I embossed using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder (item #151785) from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. To add a splash of color, I added a banner created from a piece of Merry Merlot designer series paper from the Neutrals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack (item #149614). I just love the script design for this card.
The circle was die cut from Very Vanilla cardstock using the largest circle die from the Stitched Shapes Dies (item #145372). Using Early Espresso Classic ink, I stamped the sentiment towards the top of the circle.

I stamped two of the shoe images onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso Classic ink. I colored the shoes using Merry Merlot and Petal Pink Classic inks using an Aquapainter. I then colored over the images with Clear Wink of Stella to add a touch of shimmer. I fussy cut the shoes out with Paper Snips but you could also use the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies (item #151665) to die cut the shoe images. I attached the shoes to the Very Vanilla Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I love how this card came together with these beautiful colors to create a fun, feminine design. This would be great for a teenage girl or that special someone who loves shoes.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to try this color combination and see what you can create. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you.
