We Create Gratitude Blog Hop

Welcome to the We Create Gratitude Blog Hop as we celebrate being thankful for the people in our lives. We have Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world, sharing their wonderful ideas and projects to help inspire you. You may have just visited Anastasia's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey with me. I hope that you will enjoy the projects we have to share with you.

My card design is a Fall themed card featuring the Country Lane Designer Series Paper (item #147804) from the 2018 Holiday Catalog and I have combined it with the wonderful leaf thinlets from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets dies (item #143751) in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

I created the card base from Cajun Craze cardstock and added a layer of Early Espresso cardstock as a matte for the layer of Country Lane Designer Series Paper. The design on this paper reminds me of Indian Corn and I just love the way the shades of Crushed Curry worked with these colors

To create the leaf element, I die cut the solid leaf from Cajun Craze cardstock and layered the detailed leaf die cut from Copper Foil on top. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set (item #144783) with Copper embossing powder onto a strip of Crushed Curry cardstock and layered it onto a strip of Early Espresso cardstock. To embellish the sentiment panel, I used the 1/4" Copper Trim to wrap around the panel and added a small bow to the stem of the leaf.

This card design would be perfect as a Thanksgiving card or just as a way to show someone that you appreciate them. The design works well as a masculine card and you could change the sentiment to use it for a variety of other occasions.

I hope that you have enjoyed my card design and I hope that it inspires you to create your own cards of gratitude to share with the people you love. It's amazing the difference a simple card can make it someone's life. Now it's time to visit Julie's blog and see what she has to share with us this month. Until Next Time.
Happy Stampin',
