It's time for the We Create Blog Hop and this month we have a Masculine theme. Creating masculine cards can often be challenging, so I hope the ideas we are sharing this month will help inspire you with your own creations for the men in your life.
I chose the new Sea of Textures Bundle from the New 2018-2019 Annual Catalog that goes live today at Noon Mountain Time. This amazing bundle contains the Sea of Textures stamp set and the coordinating Under the Sea Framelits dies and when you purchase them as a bundle, you save 10%.
For this card, I chose a Crumb Cake card base and added a layer of Early Espresso and Coastal Cabana. I embossed the Coastal Cabana cardstock layer with the Seaside Texture Impressions Embossing Folder. The net was die cut from Crumb Cake cardstock and the small fish from Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The seaweed was die cut from scraps of Pear Pizzazz and Tranquil Tide and the coral was die cut from Calypso Coral.
The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and I heat embossed it with Copper embossing powder onto Very Vanilla cardstock with the Tailored Tag punch and matted it with Early Espresso cardstock punched with the same punch. I then layered it onto a piece of Copper Foil punched out with the Everyday Label punch.
On the inside of the card, I matted the Very Vanilla cardstock layer onto a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and attached to the inside of the card base. Using stamps from the Sea of Textures stamp set, I decorated the Very Vanilla cardstock layer and heat embossed the sentiment with Copper embossing powder.

I really loved using this new bundle for this card and creating a colorful card design with lots of texture. Too often we think of masculine cards as dull and boring, so it was fun to think outside the box and create with bright colors. I hope that this card will encourage you to explore different color combinations for masculine cards.
