It's time for Week 28 of the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge and this week we are showcasing Crumb Cake from the Neutrals Collection. Crumb Cake is one of my favorite neutrals to use and I can't wait to share with you what I created for this week's challenge. I hope you like what I created.
For this week's challenge, I wanted to give you a Sneak Peek of a new bundle from the upcoming September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I recently took part in a Stampin' Up! event called Creativity Now that was exclusive to Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and I had the opportunity to order the new Winterly Tree Tops Bundle. This bundle has a wonderful combination of images and sentiments that makes it perfect for all occasions and I thought it would be perfect for my card design today. I paired it with one of the patterns from the Neutrals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper and used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create focal layers and sentiment label. A touch of gold helps to give this design an elegant look and step up this clean and simple design.

This pretty card design is simple to create and is a wonderful way to help brighten someone's day. Crumb Cake is a wonderful, soft neutral tone which makes it perfect for both masculine and feminine designs. I love the way the designer series paper adds texture and detail to the background that coordinates with the beautiful bird image from the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle. I stamped the image with Crumb Cake Classic ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and used a Blender Pen to blend the ink color to create a soft, vintage feel to the image. I used the coordinating dies to die cut the bird image. For the background circle, I applied a soft layer of color around the edges using a Blending Brush to add the Crumb Cake Classic ink. I adhered the small circle to the center of the Gold Foil circle and then added the die cut bird to the Very Vanilla circle using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image using Gold embossing powder onto the Very Vanilla banner label. I assembled the card by layering the designer series paper card front to the Very Vanilla cardstock layer and then added the focal circle to the center of the card base and the sentiment label to the bottom right side, trimming off the point so that the edge is flush with the designer series paper card front. I attached the card front to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up and add dimension to the card design. To complete the card, I added several Iridescent Foil Gems for a touch of sparkle. I love the soft elegance of this card design and I think it would work well for a variety of occasions.
