Ink. Stamp. Share. August Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. August Showcase Blog Hop as we share projects that we are currently working on. With the launch of the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and the Summer Sale-a-bration Catalog, there are so many new products to play with and explore. I hope our projects will help inspire you to explore trying something new this month.
Fall is just around the corner, which means that Halloween is not far away. Today's card design features products from the Cute Halloween Suite Collection in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I decided to use several of the images from one of the sheets of the Cute Halloween 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create a fun and slightly spooky design. I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out the large and small bat and I fussy cut the image of the bat hanging from the tree branch. The background was created using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and I love how it gives texture to the Basic Black cardstock to resemble a dark night sky. The sentiment is from the Clever Cats stamp set and I used the Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins to add a touch of sparkle.

One of my favorite things about Halloween is that you have so many fun options for creating projects. The Cute Halloween Suite lives up to its name and I had so much fun creating this card design with the products in this collection. I fell in love with the cute bats from the designer series paper and they were perfect for decorating my card front. The embossing of the Basic Black cardstock adds wonderful texture that helps make the images pop and I love how the Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins sparkle. I love the way the Black & White Ribbon works with the sentiment oval to finish off the card design.
