ICS March Blog Hop Favorite Bundle

Welcome to the ICS March Blog Hop as we share projects created with our favorite bundles. You will be visiting with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
It is hard for me to say what my favorite bundle is, because it is always changing and often depends on what type of card I want to create. I just recently ordered the Nothing's Better Than Bundle (item #154061) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and the crazy thing is that this bundle has been on my Wish List since I first saw the catalog, but I kept forgetting to order it. With this bundle, I loved the idea of creating a non-traditional Easter card, using the chocolate themed images. After all, we all enjoying eating chocolate during this holiday and I thought that this card would work well for my chocolate loving friends. I paired it with the retiring 2019-2021 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #153071) and the Tasteful Labels Dies (item #152886) to create this clean and simple card design.

Circle Label die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies
Chocolate die cut with Love You More Than dies
Rococo Rose In Color Designer Series Paper
Card Front Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Tasteful Labels Dies
Piece for stamped and die cut images using the Nothing's Better Than Bundle
The images and dies in the Nothing's Better Than Bundle make this a fun and simple card to create. With just a few supplies, you can create a variety of designs with this layout that are sure to bring a smile to the people receiving them. I love the bold word die cuts, such as the Chocolate one I used for this card, and how it stands out as a focal point for the sentiment label. I stamped the coordinating sentiment images with Cinnamon Cider Classic ink. For the chocolate image, I stamped the outline with Early Espresso Classic ink and used the Cinnamon Cider Classic ink to stamp the solid image by stamping it off once to give it a lighter shade of brown. To embellish this card, I colored three of the small Basic Pearls with the Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Marker to add to the card front and tied a small bow with Linen Thread and attached it to the top of the label with a Mini Glue Dot. I love this color combination of Rococo Rose with Early Espresso, Basic White and a touch of Cinnamon Cider. Sadly, Rococo Rose will be retiring soon, so if you love this color as much as I do, I recommend that your order it and the other retiring 2019-2021 In Color products soon before they sell out.
