We Create February Blog Hop Whatevs

It's time to hop along with the We Create February Blog Hop and our theme this month is "Whatevs". What does that mean? Basically we get to choose whatever we like to create our projects to help inspire you. You will be visiting with creative Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects.
I am so excited about the new Hey Birthday Chick Bundle which will be available to order starting tomorrow, February 2nd. Some of you may remember the Hey Chick stamp set that was a Sale-a-bration reward back in 2017 and the great news is that this stamp, plus coordinating dies, will also be available to order tomorrow. I just love the barn yard animals that Stampin' Up! has released over the past couple of years and I just had to add this new bundle to my collection. I chose to use colors from the 2020-2022 In Colors for this card design to create a fun, cheerful birthday card.

I love the bright cheerful colors in the 2020-2022 In Color collection and I thought they worked perfectly with this bundle. The Bumblebee Polka Dot background helps make the other colors pop. I used Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers to color the images and I used Light Just Jade Stampin' Blends Marker to color the small Basic Pearls to embellish the sentiment label. I used the Layering Ovals to create the label and used Poppy Parade cardstock to help the sentiment label pop against the background. The fence line is just one of the fun dies in this bundle and I love that it cuts and embosses the die cut to add texture to the design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try the new Hey Birthday Chick Bundle which will be available to order starting tomorrow, February 2nd, 2021.
