Colour Combo September Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo September Blog Hop as we showcase projects with this month's color theme of Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as the share their ideas and projects to inspire you.
Today I decided to create my card using a stamp set that I had never tried before. I used the To A Wild Rose stamp set (item #149452) with the coordinating Wild Roses Dies (item #149547) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to create this soft and pretty floral design. I love the way this color combination works together and enjoyed being able to color the rose and leaves with Stampin' Blends Markers to create the focal images. The background features sponging with Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy Classic ink pads using Stamping Sponges and then I stamped the leaves from the To A Wild Rose stamp set to create a textured background.
 Products Used:
To A Wild Rose stamp set (item #149452)
Wild Rose Dies (item #149547)
Basic Rhinestones (item #144220)
Night Of Navy cardstock (item #100857)
Flirty Flamingo cardstock (item #141416)
Whisper White cardstock (item #100730)
Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154884)
Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #154885)
Night of Navy Classic Ink Pad (item #147110)
Granny Apple Green Classic Ink Pad (item #147095)
Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pad (item #147052)
Stamping Sponges (item #141337)
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (item #141897)
 Measurements:
Night of Navy cardstock card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(scored at 4 1/4")
Flirty Flamingo cardstock layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White cardstock layer - 5" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White cardstock for stamping images and die cut sentiment label
I used Flirty Flamingo Classic ink to stamp the floral image, Granny Apple Green Classic ink to stamp the leaves and Night of Navy Classic ink to stamp the sentiment. You may notice that the sentiment didn't stamp solidly across the tops of the "ll"s but I liked how it gave a kind of Ombre look to the sentiment. To color the images, I used a combination of the light and dark colors of each combination of the Stampin' Blends Markers. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the images to add a touch of sparkle.  I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to add the sentiment label to the card front and used a combination of adhesive and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the rose and leaves to the card front. For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestones to the center of the rose and to the sentiment label. This card design could be used for a variety of occasions just by changing the sentiment.
