ICS Blog Hop It's A Spring Thing

Welcome to April's ICS Blog Hop with our theme this month being It's a Spring Thing! We are celebrating the new season with our wonderful Spring themed projects to help inspire you. I hope that you enjoy what we have to share with you this month.
Today I have paired the amazing Butterfly Gala Bundle (item #150599) with the beautiful Gingham Gala 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #148554) to create this pretty Spring card. I just love how they work together.
I chose to use Highland Heather cardstock for the card base and added 3 strips measuring 1" x5 1/4" and attached them to the front of the card. I chose to use the large gingham pattern but you could easily use the smaller design on the reverse if you prefer.
For the focal image, I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock die cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies (item #148551) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and layered this piece onto a piece of Highland Heather cardstock that I die cut with one of the larger rectangle dies.

The butterflies were stamped onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored them using Lemon Lime Twist and Melon Mambo Classic inks and the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker for detail on the smaller butterflies. For a touch of bling, I added Basic Rhinestones to the bodies of the butterflies to finish off the card design.
The beauty of creating this card design with these products is that you can recreate this card in any of the beautiful colors featured in the Gingham Gala 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. I will warn you though, that this paper pack and the Butterfly Gala Bundle are extremely popular, so you should place your order soon to get them before the disappear. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, I would be happy to help you with your creative projects.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own Spring projects. Now it's time to visit Candy's blog and see what she has to share this month. Just click the Next button below to visit her blog. I hope that you enjoy the rest of our blog hop today.
Until Next Time
Happy Stamping,
