Colour Combo April Blog Hop

It's time for the Colour Combo April Blog Hop and this month we have been challenged to create a project using Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron and Blushing Bride. These soft, pretty colors are perfect for Spring and look wonderful together.
For my card design, I chose to use the Forever Lovely Bundle (item #150580) from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I love the intricate detail created by the dies from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits dies that are a part of this bundle. I wanted to showcase this detail by using it to create a border for the top and bottom pieces of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
I layered a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock underneath the die cut pieces so that it made the roses and floral detail appear pink. I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Lovely stamp set (item #148624) with Pear Pizzazz Classic ink onto the Blushing Bride cardstock between the two layers. When you order both the stamp set and coordinating edgelits as a bundle, you save 10%.
I layered the main panel onto a piece of So Saffron cardstock to create a thin frame and then added it to the Pear Pizzazz cardstock card base. To finish off the card, I added Basic Pearls that I colored with the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker (item #144586) to the card front.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and view my card design. I hope that it helps inspire you to experiment with this color combination as you create your projects. If you live in the U.S. and do not already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I will be happy to help you.

Now it's time to visit Amanda's blog and see what she has created this month. Just click the Next button below to visit her blog. I hope that you will enjoy the rest of our blog hop and be inspired by our projects.

Until Next Time
Happy Stamping,
