SBTD Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to SBTD's November Blog Hop and this month our theme is Christmas. You will be visiting Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world with their ideas for Christmas projects to help inspire you. You may have just visited Susan's blog or perhaps you are getting started here with me. I hope that our blog hop will provide you with a variety of ideas to help you with your holiday planning.

Today's card design features the Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Santa's Signpost Framelits dies (item #147911), both from the 2018 Holiday Catalog, to create a fun, whimsical Christmas card. I just love the cute images from this designer series paper and the ability to die cut select images makes creating projects quick and easy. I chose this adorable Santa, checking his list, as my focal point for this card design.

For this card, I chose to use Garden Green cardstock for my card base and added a layer of Whisper White cardstock as a matte for the Real Red cardstock layer that I embossed using the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (item #147912).

I added a 2" x 5 1/4" panel of the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper, which is now available to order for a limited time (item #149903) to the Real Red layer and used the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon (item #144213) to create a border on either side.
For the sentiment, I liked the small font from the Peaceful Noel stamp set (item #147694) and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder onto Whisper White cardstock. I punched it out using the 1 1/4" Circle punch and layered it with a Real Red circle punched out with the 1 1/2" Circle punch and added it to the card front with dimensionals.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to have a little fun with your Christmas cards this year. Now it's time to visit Courtenay's blog and see what she has to share with us this month. Just click the Next button below to visit her blog. I hope you enjoy our blog hop

Until Next Time.
Happy Stampin',
