GSF Extraordinary Blog Hop Halloween

Welcome to the GSF Extraordinary Halloween Blog Hop where demonstrators from all over the world are sharing their spooky Halloween projects to help inspire you. I hope that you will enjoy the projects we have to share today.

I love cats, especially black cats, so I couldn't resist creating this spooky Halloween card featuring the Night Owl Thinlets dies to create the branch for the cat to sit on. The branch was die cut from Soft Suede cardstock and the cat was punched from Basic Black cardstock using the Cat Punch.

The moon was created using the largest circle from the Layering Circles Framelits dies and was cut from Crushed Curry cardstock and sponged with Crushed Curry Classic ink. The eyes of the cat were created by coloring Basic Rhinestones with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Marker. The background was created using the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and I lightly sponged the raised areas with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to give a moonlight glow to the trees.

The Halloween sentiment is from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set and was heat embossed with Gold embossing powder onto Night of Navy cardstock and die cut using the label die from the Night Owl Thinlets dies. I sponged the edges using the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that you enjoyed my Halloween card and I hope it inspires you to create your own Halloween projects for family and friends. 1. Thank you Rach. I love using the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint. It adds the perfect amount of sparkle that in this case gives the appearance of moonlight. :)

    1. Thanks Jan. The Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends marker does a perfect job of coloring the rhinestones to create the green eyes. I feel like the glow in the dark. :)
