Ink & Share Blog Hop Anything But a Card

Welcome to the Ink & Share September Blog Hop. This month we have been challenged to create anything but a card for our project and with Halloween just weeks away, I thought I would create a cute treat to share with you. You may have just visited Jo's wonderful blog or perhaps you are starting here with my blog. I hope that you will enjoy the projects we have to share with you this month and that perhaps it will inspire you to try creating something other than a card for your next project.

My Halloween Treat has been created using one of the Mini Pizza Boxes (item #144645) that can be found in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and I have decorated it by sponging the outside with Gorgeous Grape Classic ink. I just love this vibrant purple and I think it is a perfect color for Halloween. I stamped the cute puppy image from the Trick or Tweet stamp set in the 2018 Holiday Catalog with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2" Circle of Whisper White cardstock and colored the image with a variety of Stampin' Blends Markers. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the stamped image for a little bit of shimmer. I layered the Whisper White Circle onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock that I punched out using the Starburst Punch.

For the sides of the box, I heat embossed the stars image from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set with Silver embossing powder. Then I added the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (item #147044) lightly to the sides with a sponge dauber for extra sparkle. It looks great with the Gorgeous Grape Classic ink.

I used a 3 1/4" square piece of the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper (item #147531) for the top of the Mini Pizza Box and adhered it with some Snail Adhesive. I attached the image using Stampin' Dimensionals to the top of the box. Choosing a sentiment from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set, I heat embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder onto a scrap of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and using the Everyday Label Punch, I trimmed it to a smaller sized label. I cut a small piece of Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon (item # 147897) and attached it to the box. I then layered the sentiment on top of the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish off the top of the box, I colored some small Basic Pearls with the Granny Apple Green Dark Stampin' Blend Marker and placed them onto the label. The black sequins are from the Metallics Sequin Assortment (item #144214) and were attached using Tombow Multipurpose glue. The final touch was a bow tied with the Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

The Halloween products in the 2018 Holiday Catalog are amazing and you can create so many wonderfully spooky treats with them. I can't wait to create more Mini Pizza Boxes using the Mummy Cat, Batty Elephant and the Spooky Bird from the Trick or Tweet stamp set. Combined with the designs in the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, there are so many amazing possibilities.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you enjoyed my spooky treat box and hopefully it will inspire you to create your own fun projects for Halloween.
