Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights November 2023

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's November International Blog Highlights and I am excited to share with you my Thank You card that I created for today's blog hop. You will have the opportunity to visit with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their beautiful projects to help inspire you.
For my card design today, I wanted to showcase one of the beautiful designs from the One Horse Open Sleigh 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, which can be found in the Online Exclusives section of my Online Store. I wanted to create the appearance of looking out a window at a Winter scene outside, including a cute little deer. For the window opening, I chose to use the Garden Meadow Dies, one of the new Online Exclusive products that will be available to order starting tomorrow, November 7th. I love the embossed detail the die creates that adds subtle texture to the design. This simple layout would work well with many of the designs from this paper pack to create a variety of cards for all occasions.
Products Used:
Seaside Bay stamp set (item #160436)
Garden Meadow Dies (item #162740)
Deckled Rectangles Dies (item #159173)
One Horse Open Sleigh 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #162118)
Gray Granite Cardstock (item #146983)
Early Espresso Cardstock (item #119686)
Gray Granite Classic Ink Pad (item #147118)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Adhesive Backed Snowflake Assortment (item #162129)
Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (item #156506)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Gray Granite Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies
Early Espresso Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" window opening die cut with the Garden Meadow Dies
One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper
Window insert die cut with the Garden Meadow Dies
This clean and simple card design is easy to create with just a few supplies. I used the new Garden Meadow Dies to create the window opening from the Early Espresso card front and I also die cut the coordinating insert from the designer series paper layer using the same die. I attached the Early Espresso card front to the Gray Granite card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. I then added the designer series paper insert inside the opening with adhesive to the front of the card base to create the Winter scene. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the Thank You image with Copper embossing powder onto Gray Granite cardstock and die cut it out with the Deckled Rectangles Dies. I gently sponged the edges of the die cut label with Gray Granite Classic ink using a Sponge Dauber to add some dimension to the label. I then gently applied Versamark ink to the edges of the label and heat embossed them with Copper embossing powder to coordinate with the sentiment. I attached the sentiment to the bottom left corner with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card, I added several Copper Snowflakes to the sentiment label and card front and added Copper Metallic Dots to the centers to complete the design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful Thank You cards using the beautiful One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper. The wonderful designs in this paper pack are perfect for creating beautiful clean and simple card designs to send to family and friends.

Ink. Stamp. Share. October Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. October Showcase Blog Hop as we share our current projects to help inspire you. Our Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas using current Stampin' Up! products to help spark your creativity.
Stampin' Up! has such beautiful designer series paper and one of my favorite things to do is to create clean and simple card designs that showcase the wonderful designs in these paper packs. My card design today is one of support for a friend who is going through a difficult time. It is a simple way to remind her that I am there for her whenever she needs me. The design I chose from the One Horse Open Sleigh 6"x6" Designer Series Paper gives me a feeling of peace and I felt that it was perfect for the card I wanted to create for my friend. With just a simple sentiment and a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones, my card is complete and ready to send to her, to hopefully provide her with some comfort.

Versamark Pad (item #102283)

Sentiment Label die cut with the Something Fancy Dies
One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper

This beautiful card is so simple to create and it is a wonderful way to create a lot of cards in a short amount of time. Simply cut and prep your card bases, card fronts and sentiments and then assemble. I chose to emboss my sentiment with White embossing powder onto the Night of Navy sentiment label to make it pop against the card front. The Iridescent Rhinestones add a touch of bling without being overwhelming, to finish off the design.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design helps inspire you to create your own beautiful cards to send to your family and friends. Creating clean and simple cards with designer series paper is a wonderful way to share something beautiful with the people you care about. Stamping With Friends Online Exclusives Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop as we showcase products from the Online Exclusives. Our wonderful Design Team is excited to share their projects and ideas to help show you the amazing possibilities open to you with these products. As the name suggests, these products can only be found online and it's important to remember that they are available while supplies last. I hope our projects will encourage you to explore this exclusive collection of products.
Lately I have been having so much fun creating projects with the beautiful One Horse Open Sleigh Suite Collection. I just love how these products coordinate to make it simple and stress free to create with. I love the beautiful One Horse Open Sleigh 6"x6" Designer Series Paper and how the pretty Winter scenes make perfect backgrounds for simply beautiful cards. For today's card design, I chose to use one of the beautiful designs to create a stepped up clean and simple card design, that showcases how these amazing products work together to create a wonderful Christmas card.
Products Used:
One Horse Open Sleigh Suite Collection (item #162130)
- Horse & Sleigh Bundle (item #162126)
- One Horse Open Sleigh 6"x6" Designer Series Paper (item #162118)
-Adhesive Backed Snowflake Assortment (item #162129)
Misty Moonlight Cardstock (item # 153081)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Vellum Cardstock (item #101856)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (item #141897)
Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels (item #158130)
Measurements:
Misty Moonlight Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Detailed Tree die cut with the Horse & Sleigh Dies
One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Cardstock
4 Snowbanks die cut with the Horse & Sleigh Dies
Vellum Cardstock
Tag die cut with the Tailored Tags Dies
The hardest part about creating with this wonderful suite of products, is choosing which design from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper to use. For this card design, I chose the design that gives the feeling of a Winter sunrise/sunset with the warm glow in the sky in the background. I love using Vellum cardstock with this paper pack to minimize covering up the beautiful scenes and this time I chose to use an old favorite, Tailor Made Tags Dies, to create a simple tag for my sentiment. To step up the tag, I die cut 2 each of the snowbanks with the Horse & Sleigh Dies to create some dimension in the foreground of the card design. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Horse & Sleigh stamp set using Gold embossing powder, positioning the sentiment towards the top of the tag, to allow room of the snowbanks along the bottom. I attached two of the snowbanks to the reverse side of the vellum tag and the other two on the front of the tag, offsetting them so that it allowed the back layers to show through and create multiple layers. I attached the Misty Moonlight tree die cut to the right side of the card front, near the grass peeking through the snow. I attached the vellum tag to the card front so that it partially overlapped the tree and hid the adhesive behind the snowbanks so that it wouldn't show. To embellish the card, I added several white Snowflakes and added Iridescent Rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes for a touch of sparkle. To help hold down the vellum tag, I also added a Mini Glue Dot behind each of the snowflakes to anchor it. I love how soft and pretty this card design turned out and even though I have used a Christmas sentiment for my card, you could also use this design for a variety of other occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will inspire you to explore the wonderful products available in the Online Exclusives. It's a wonderful way to create beautiful projects and mix and match with old favorites from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

The designs in the One Horse Open Sleigh 6'x6" Designer Series Paper are so beautiful that it is a shame to cover them up, so I decided to keep my card simple to allow the beauty of the scene to shine through. For the foreground, I die cut several snowbanks using the dies from the Horse & Sleigh Dies and layered them at the bottom of the designer series paper. To add a touch of shimmer, I used Clear Wink of Stella to highlight the snow banks to give the impression of sparkling snow. I stamped the rabbit onto Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso Classic ink, stamping it off once so that the image was softer and matched the colors of the trees and then die cut it out with the coordinating die. Using a Blender Pen, I gently blended the ink from the stamped image to give my rabbit some soft color. I layered the designer series paper card front layer onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock to help create a frame around the scene. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image using Gold embossing powder onto a piece of Vellum cardstock and attached it to the card front, wrapping the edges of the vellum cardstock around to the back and adhering in place. To help step up the design, I added a piece of Gold Trim around the bottom of the vellum cardstock layer and attached the ends to the back of the card front. I used a small piece of the Gold Trim to tie a knot on the right side and trimmed the ends. For a touch of bling, I added several of the Adhesive Backed Snowflakes to the card front and added a small Gold Pearl to the center of each snowflake to finish off the card design. To complete the card, I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the card front to the card base to add some dimension. I love how pretty and peaceful this card design looks and I think it works well for so many occasions.

I fell in love with the products in the new One Horse Open Sleigh Suite Collection and couldn't wait to start creating Christmas cards with them. I often create "Christmas in July" projects and it's a great way to get a head start on my holiday projects. The One Horse Open Sleigh 6"x6" Designer Series Paper has simply stunning scenic background designs that make beautiful cards not only for Christmas but for other Winter themed occasions. For my card design today, I felt like it could be used like a Thinking of You card or as a Christmas card because the sentiment leaves it open to be used for a variety of occasions. I love the Horse & Sleigh Bundle and it coordinates beautifully with the pretty designer series paper.

Basic White Cardstock
Horse & Sleigh image stamped and die cut with the Horse & Sleigh Bundle
This beautiful card is relatively simple to create and I wanted the horse and sleigh to feel like a part of the background scene for this design. I used one of the designer series paper designs to create the card front and adhered it to the Night of Navy card base to help it stand out. For the horse and sleigh image, I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers. I chose to use Boho Blue for the sleigh, Moody Mauve for the coats and hats, Smoky Slate for the horse, Pebbled Path for the reins and gloves and Petal Pink for the faces. I added a touch of Flirty Flamingo for one of the pillows as a contrast to the Moody Mauve. I used the coordinating dies to die cut the image and then I used Light Balmy Blue to lightly color around the white edge of the image so that it would blend in with the designer series paper background. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with Silver embossing powder onto the Night of Navy sentiment label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies and trimmed off the right side to create a straight edge. I added the sentiment to the card front on the bottom right side so that it was in line with the edge of the designer series paper. For the horse and sleigh, I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to add the die cut to the card front so that it slightly overlapped the sentiment label. to complete the design, I added several of the White Snowflakes to the card front and added small Silver Sequins to the centers for an additional touch of bling. I just love the Winter feel of this card design, a perfect contrast on a hot Summer's day.
