We Create November Blog Hop Gratitude & Thanks

Welcome to the We Create November Blog Hop as we showcase projects with the theme " Gratitude & Thanks". You will be visiting with our talented Design Team Members as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you to create your own beautiful projects.
Fall is in full swing and Thanksgiving is just around the corner here in Colorado. The wonderful colors of this season are perfect for creating cards of gratitude and thanks and for my card design today, I wanted to create an organic feel to my design. For this card, I chose to use the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle and added the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set for the beautiful sentiment. I love that the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set has so many wonderful images to add texture to the background and I combined them with the detailed leaves and branch dies from the coordinating Intricate Leaves Dies to create this wonderful design. The Gold and Copper accents help to step up this card design without having to add any bling. The Linen Thread adds the perfect finishing touch for this card.

Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Linen Thread (item #104199)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Early Espresso Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Branch die cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Card Front - 5" x 3 3/4"
Copper Foil
Two detailed leaves die cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies
Gold Foil
One long leaf die cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies
The textured background for this card design was created by stamping the Woodgrain image with Soft Suede ink several times using Generational stamping. I then stamped the large spotted background image with Crumb Cake ink repeating the process. I heat embossed the sentiment in the bottom right corner with Copper embossing powder and added the small leaves images in both Gold and Copper embossing to coordinate. I attached the die cut branch to the left side of the card front and then added the foil die cut leaves to give the impression they were falling from the tree. To add a touch of color, I stamped the smaller spotted background image with Cajun Craze ink, making sure to stamp off each time to tone down the intensity of the color. II adhered the card front to the Early Espresso cardstock layer to create a frame for the focal image. For the final touch, I added Linen Thread around the bottom of the card front, wrapping it twice and then tying a knot at the front. I attached the card front to the Crumb Cake card base with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. The beautiful card design works well as a Thanksgiving card or as general Thank You card. The embossing adds an elegant touch to the design without being to over the top.

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop and this month we are showcasing products from the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. You will be visiting with talented  Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you. There are so many amazing new products to help you get ready for the upcoming seasons and holidays.
The July-December 2021 Mini Catalog is one of my favorites because it is full of wonderful products to help us create for the holidays and the upcoming Autumn and Winter seasons. Soon the leaves will be changing here in Colorado and I love the warm, earthy colors of Fall. Today I am sharing this beautiful Fall themed card featuring the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle paired with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, which adds amazing texture to the background. While I created this card design with Thanksgiving in mind, it could be used for a variety of occasions and would make a great masculine card design.

The secret to this Fall card is the texture and layers that help to build the design. I used the new Timber 3D Embossing Folder from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog to add texture to the Cinnamon Cider card front layer and attached it to the Soft Suede card base. For the Very Vanilla scalloped rectangle, I stamped the background using the large and small dotty background images. I used Cinnamon Cider Classic ink for the large image in the center and then layered the smaller image with Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Classic inks to create a colorful background design. I stamped the sentiment from the Through It Together stamp set with Soft Suede Classic ink, towards to the bottom of the rectangle. I attached the scalloped rectangle to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. To create the focal design, I attached a piece of the Fine Art Ribbon to the scalloped rectangle, in a zig zag pattern, over the stamped background. I added the three leaves on top of the ribbon, layering them so that the stems intertwined at the base. I added a small bow created with Linen Thread to the base of the stems with a Mini Glue Dot. Despite all the layering, this card design is relatively flat and is suitable for mailing without extra postage. I love how this card design captures the feeling of Autumn.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own beautiful Fall projects to welcome the new season. There are so many wonderful options to explore in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.

Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights August 2021

Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights for the month of August. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators sharing our projects and ideas to help inspire you to get creative. Our theme is Thank You and who doesn't need Thank You cards to send out to people to show how much we appreciate them.
Fall is just around the corner, so I decided to create this Fall themed Thank You card using the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. For the background, I used the Macramé 3D Embossing Folder to add some wonderful texture. This clean and simple card would be great for a masculine design.
Products Used:
Gorgeous Leaves Bundle (item #158609) New
Macramé 3D Embossing Folder (item #155435)
Layering Circles Dies (item #151770)
Pansy Patch stamp set (item #154999)
Double Oval Punch (item #154242)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Early Espresso Cardstock (item #119686)
Sahara Sand Cardstock (item #121043)
Gold Foil Sheets (item #132622)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallic Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Early Espresso Cardstock
Layer 1 - 5 1/4" x 4"
Large Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Sentiment Oval die cut with Double Ovals Punch
Sahara Sand Cardstock
Background Layer - 5" x 3 3/4" Embossed with Macramé 3D Embossing Folder
Gold Foil Sheet
Detailed Leaf die cut with Intricate Leaves Dies (from Gorgeous Leaves Bundle)
For this card design, I chose warm colors suitable for Fall. I love the way that the Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Sahara Sand work together and the touch of Gold foil and Gold embossing helps step up the card design. To create this card, I embossed the Sahara Sand cardstock layer with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set onto the Early Espresso oval and also heat embossed the splatter image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set randomly onto the large Early Espresso circle. I attached the Gold foil leaf onto the Early Espresso circle and attached both the circle and the sentiment oval to the embossed Sahara Sand cardstock layer. I attached the Sahara Sand cardstock layer to the Early Espresso layer and then attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I decided not to add any embellishments to the design, preferring to keep it nice and simple.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to create your own wonderful Thank You cards. There are so many wonderful products to explore in the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.
