Stamping With Friends Retiring 2020-2022 In Colors Blog Hop

It's time to say goodbye to the 2020-2022 In Colors with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. Our wonderful Design Team members will be showcasing their favorite retiring In Colors as they share their wonderful projects to help inspire you. These beautiful colors are available only while supplies last or until May 2nd, so make sure you stock up on your favorites before they disappear.
My favorite 2020-2022 In Color is Misty Moonlight so I just had to create my card design with this beautiful blue. I wanted to create a masculine birthday card, so I chose to use the Handsomely Suited stamp set with the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. The designs in this paper pack are perfect for masculine cards.

2020-2022 In Color Square Gems (item #155572) Retiring
Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack (item #158140)
Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (item #144108)
Measurements:
Misty Moonlight Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Sentiment Label die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon
2 pieces approx. 5" long
The focal point of this card is the beautiful designer series paper. I love the monochromatic design with the nature theme and the Misty Moonlight cardstock card base creates a wonderful frame for this design. I cut two pieces of the Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon at approx. 5" each and attached them to the card front approx. 1/4" apart. Using Silver embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited stamp set onto the sentiment label I die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies. I attached the sentiment label over the two pieces of ribbon using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card design, I added four of the small Misty Moonlight Square Gems to the corners of the sentiment label.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to explore these beautiful In Colors. There are so many wonderful coordinating products to choose from to help make creating your projects a stress free experience.

Around The World On Wednesday September Blog Hop Changing Seasons

Welcome to the Around The World On Wednesday September Blog Hop as we showcase projects with the theme of Changing Seasons. Here in the northern hemisphere, we are saying goodbye to Summer and preparing for the cooler weather that comes with Fall. Here in Colorado the leaves are already beginning to change and I love the colors of Fall. It's like getting a whole new palette of colors to create with and I can't wait to share them with you.
Today's card design is a wonderful Fall birthday card featuring the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I just love the cute images and fun sentiments in this stamp set and when combined with this beautiful Fall themed design from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, you have the perfect recipe for this seasonal card. The colors I chose for this card have been taken from the colors in the designer series paper for a wonderful clean and simple birthday design.
Products Used:
Nuts About Squirrels stamp set (item #156475)
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (item #155841)

Measurements:
Early Espresso Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4")
Large Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Medium Circle die cut with Layering Circles Dies
Stamped squirrel image
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4"
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Sentiment tag die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies
This beautiful clean and simple card showcases the wonderful Fall design of this pretty designer series paper. The great thing about the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper is that it has patterns suitable for all the seasons of the year. The squirrel is simple to create with the stamp images from the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set. I stamped the outline image of the squirrel with Early Espresso Classic ink and colored it using the solid images from the stamp set using Cajun Craze for the body, Soft Suede for the top of the acorn and Crumb Cake for the bottom of the acorn. I fussy cut the image and attached it to the Basic White circle with Stampin' Dimensionals and then attached it to the Early Espresso circle. For the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Birthday image with Early Espresso Classic ink and threaded a piece of the Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim through the hole of the tag. I tied a bow with the Linen Thread around the base of the Faux Suede Trim. I attached the sentiment tag to the card front with the Stampin' Dimensionals. This card design is great for people of all ages and works well as a masculine card design. I love the way this card design captures the feel of Fall with the warm colors of the leaves.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to start creating your own wonderful projects for the new season. Stamping With Friends Bloggers Choice August Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Bloggers Choice Blog Hop as we share our fun, creative projects to help inspire you. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share a project of their choice.
Today I decided to share this cute Easel Birthday card that has a wonderful Fall feel to it. I just love the new Nuts About Squirrels stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and I chose to combine it with one of the designs from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. This adorable fun fold is simple to create using a standard card base but really does add a Wow factor to the card. It pops up to display the cute squirrel but lies flat to make it easy to mail in medium size envelope.
Products Used;
Nuts About Squirrels stamp set (item #156475)
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (item #155841)
Painted Labels Dies (item #151605)
Early Espresso Cardstock (item #119686)
Cajun Craze Cardstock (item #119684)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad (item #147114)
Soft Suede Classic Ink Pad (item #147115)
Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad (item #147116)
Cinnamon Cider Classic Ink Pad (item #153114)
Versamark Pad (item #102283)
Metallics Embossing Powders (item #155555)
Gilded Gems (item #152478)
Stampin' Dimensionals (item #104430)
Measurements:
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4" and cut at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4" from score line to the bottom of the card. Score the center panel at 2 1/8")
Early Espresso Cardstock
2 Strips - 1 1/8" x 4 1/8"
Swirled Circle die cut with Painted Labels Dies
Sentiment Label die cut with Painted Labels Dies
Basic White Cardstock
Inside Base Layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
Stamped Squirrel fussy cut with Paper Snips
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
2 Strips - 1" x 4"
2 Pieces - 2" x 2 7/8"
This simple Easel card is easy to create and doesn't require a lot of extra pieces. You start with a standard card base and cut the front into three strips by cutting from the score line down to the bottom of the card at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4". The center panel is 3" wide and you score that panel at 2 1/8" and burnish the fold line so that it creates a mountain fold. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with Early Espresso Classic ink onto the Basic White layer and attached it to the inside of the card. Next, I attached the two side strips from the front of the card to the base of the card, lining them up with the outside edges of the card base. I attached the Early Espresso strips to the side panels of the card front and then added the two designer paper strips onto the Early Espresso cardstock strips. For the center panel, I attached the two designer series pieces above and below the score line. I heat embossed the sentiment onto the Early Espresso cardstock label with Gold embossing powder and attached it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. To create the focal image, I stamped the squirrel image with Early Espresso Classic ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and used the solid stamp images to color the squirrel. I fussy cut the image and attached it to the Swirled Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals. I attached the Swirled Circle to the bottom section of the center panel, making sure not to apply adhesive to the top of the circle. To complete the card design, I added two Gilded Gems to the sentiment label for a touch of bling.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help inspire you to try this fun fold to help step up your card designs. There are so many wonderful new products in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog to explore and create with.

New At SU June Blog Hop Favorite New Suite

Welcome to the New At SU June Blog Hop as we showcase the amazing new Suites in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Suites are such a wonderful way to help you get creative as they provide you with coordinating products to help take the stress out of creating your own projects. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you.
The Beauty of The Earth Suite is a wonderful suite for all occasions all through the year. For my card  today, I chose to use all the products in this suite to show how well they work together. This design works well as a masculine card and I chose the colors for this design from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.
Products Used:
Beauty of the Earth Suite Collection (item #155843) New
Includes:
- Beauty of Friendship Bundle (item #155834)
- Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (item #155841)
- Bark 3D Embossing Folder (item #155431)
Mossy Meadow Cardstock (item #133676)
Cinnamon Cider Cardstock (item #153078)
Basic White Cardstock (item #159276)
Early Espresso Cardstock (item #119686)
Old Olive Classic Ink Pad (item #147090)
Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad (item #147111)
Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad (item #147114)
Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends Combo Pack (item #153105)
Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (item #155475)
Basic Pearl Jewels (item #144219)
Measurements:
Mossy Meadow Cardstock
Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
Matte Layer - 3 5/8" x 1 5/8"
Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
Card Front - 5 1/4" x 4" Embossed with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder
Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
Focal Layer - 1 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Basic White Cardstock
Sentiment Label die cut with Beautiful Trees Dies
Tree trunk and leaves images stamped and die cut with Beauty of Friendship Bundle
Early Espresso Cardstock
Rectangle die cut with Beautiful Trees Dies
I love the way that these products combine to create this beautiful card design. The Bark 3D Embossing Folder adds wonderful texture to the background layer and helps make the focal design pop. I cut the focal image from one of the sheets from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper and layered it onto a Mossy Meadow cardstock matte. For the tree, I stamped the trunk with Early Espresso Classic ink and the leaves with Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Classic inks and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies. The sentiment was stamped on the Basic White label with Mossy Meadow Classic ink and layered onto the Early Espresso cardstock die cut. I colored two of the small Basic Pearls with the Dark Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the sentiment label. The Crumb Cake Baker's Twine (from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack) has been wrapped around the card front twice and tied in a knot of the right side of the card. I added the focal image over the top of the baker's twine with Stampin' Dimensionals and added the tree to the left side of the focal image. To complete the card design, I attached the sentiment below the focal image, offsetting it to the right, with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The products in the Beauty of the Earth Suite made it simple to create this card and the coordination of products took the stress out of my creative experience.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope that my card design will help encourage you to explore the products in the Beauty of the Earth Suite and inspire you to create your own wonderful projects.
