Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Team Blog Hop March 2020

Welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Team Blog Hop for March. You will be visiting talented Stampin' Demonstrators from around the world as the share their ideas and projects to help inspire you. I hope that you enjoy our blog hop today.
Today's card is a bright and cheerful clean and simple card design featuring the new Rise & Shine stamp set (item #152303) from the Sale-a-bration 2nd Release. I love the fun images and sentiments that are perfect for creating projects to help brighten someone's day. I combined this stamp set with the coordinating Cup of Cheer Dies (item #151150) that carried over from the 2019 Holiday Catalog and the dies work perfectly with the images in this stamp set.
For my card design, I used Coastal Cabana cardstock for my card base and added a layer of Bermuda Bay cardstock that I embossed using the Stone 3D Embossing Folder from the Power of Hope Bundle (item #152318)  from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. I love the texture that this embossing folder adds to the background. I die cut a label using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (item #149638) from Pool Party cardstock to create the focal design for my card.
To create the cup, I stamped the image from the Rise & Shine stamp set with Mango Melody Classic ink onto Whisper White cardstock and embellished it with the small flower image from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set (item #152290), also using Mango Melody Classic ink. I die cut the cup image using the coordinating die from the Cup of Cheer Die set (item #151150). I stamped one of the larger flowers onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using the same ink and punched it out using the coordinating Small Blossom Punch (item #152316). I attached it to the center of the circle of the cup with a Stampin' Dimensional and embellished it with a Basic Rhinestone.

The sentiment was stamped onto the bottom of the label using Bermuda Bay Classic ink and I stamped the steam image twice towards the top of the label using Pool Party Classic ink, so that the images slightly overlapped. I added the die cut cup to the label with Stampin' Dimensionals so that the steam appears to come out of the top of the cup.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope my clean and simple card design helps inspire you to have some fun creating with the products in the Sale-a-bration catalogs. There are so many wonderful possibilities whether you choose to use just one or combine several together as I have done to create a fun design.

What's New At SU Blog Hop Sale-a-bration

Welcome to the What's New At SU March Blog Hop as we get ready to say goodbye to Sale-a-bration for another year. We will be showcasing Sale-a-bration products in our projects to help inspire you to get creative ready for Spring. Sale-a-bration ends March 31st, so now is the perfect time to place an order for your favorite products and earn Free Sale-a-bration products as a bonus. I hope our projects will help inspire you.
Today I decided to use one of my favorite Sale-a-bration stamp sets, The Gangs All Meer (item #152294). I love the cute images and wonderful sentiments that work for a variety of occasions and for people of all ages. You can earn this cute stamp set free with a qualifying $50 order during Sale-a-bration. I decided to create a masculine design with this stamp set and paired it with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.
To create this card design, I started with Crushed Curry cardstock for my card base and I added a layer of Pear Pizzazz cardstock for the background. I stamped the cactus image using Pear Pizzazz Classic ink all over the Pear Pizzazz cardstock layer to create a background pattern. I added a piece of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon across the middle of the Pear Pizzazz Layer for added texture.
To create the focal design, I stamped the meerkat group image onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with Soft Suede Classic ink. I colored in the image using Light Crumb Cake, Light So Saffron and Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blends Markers. I used one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (item #151690) to die cut the meerkat image. I layered it onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock die cut using another one of the dies from this die set, using Stampin' Dimensionals. I then attached the Soft Suede Cardstock to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals, positioning it over the Burlap Ribbon.

For the sentiment, I stamped the image onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Soft Suede Classic ink. I punched out the sentiment using the Classic Label Punch (item #141491) and layered it with a label punched out with the same punch from Soft Suede cardstock. I cut the Soft Suede Label in half and attached each piece to the back of the Very Vanilla sentiment label so that the ends frame it. This sweet card design is suitable for a variety of occasions and is sure to brighten someone's day.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my card design inspires you to explore creating your own projects using the wonderful products that you can earn Free during Sale-a-bration.

3D Paper Trimmer February Blog Hop Sale-a-bration

Welcome to the 3D Paper Trimmer February Blog Hop as we showcase projects using the Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer with products from the 2020 Sale-a-bration Catalog. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share ideas to help inspire you. I hope you enjoy our blog hop this month.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that my project helps inspire you to explore new ways to create with you Paper Trimmer.
My project for today's blog hop is a simple Z Fold card created using the beautiful Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (item #152284) along with  Lovely Lily Pad stamp set (item #152288) and coordinating Lily Pad Dies (item #152315). All of these amazing Sale-a-bration products can be earned Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration. All the cutting and scoring I have done to create this Z Fold card design, was done with the Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer (item #152392).
For my card design, I used Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4". I added two pieces of one of the pretty papers from the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper - one measuring 5 1/2" x 3" and the other 5 1/2" x 1 1/4".  I attached the larger piece to along side the 1 1/4" fold with Snail Adhesive and attached the smaller piece on the reverse side of the card along the edge of the card.
To create the front sentiment panel, I cut a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock 3" x3" and added a panel of Whisper White cardstock cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". I heat embossed the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set (item # 151691) from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, using Silver Embossing Powder and embellished it with two of the Melon Mambo Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones (item #149494).
For the inside panel, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 2 1/2" x 5" and attached it to the card base using Snail Adhesive. On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the outline image of the lily with Melon Mambo Classic ink and the solid image with Flirty Flamingo Classic ink. For the lily pad, I stamped the outline with Bermuda Bay Classic ink and the solid image with Coastal Cabana Classic ink. I die cut both images using the coordinating dies in the Lily Pad dies and attached them to the bottom of the panel using Snail Adhesive.
This pretty fun fold is a wonderful way to showcase these beautiful Sale-a-bration products to create a card for that special someone. If you would like to see the video that inspired my card design, please click here to watch the video by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Patty Bennett, as she shows step by step how to create the Z Fold.
