For today's Sketch Challenge, I decided to create a fun Halloween card, combining the Trick or Treats Bundle with the Bag of Bones Bundle, For the background, I used one of the designs from the Them Bones Designer Series Paper and used Parakeet Party and Gorgeous Grape to add a pop of color to the design. I love the Frankenstein image from the Trick or Treats stamp set and thought he would be perfect for the focal image for this card.

Halloween doesn't have to be scary or spooky. I wanted my design to be fun and I thought that the Frankenstein image would be perfect for this card. I love the way the Parakeet Party Classic ink glows against the Gorgeous Grape cardstock circle that I die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies. For the background, I used one of the designs from the Them Bones Designer Series Paper and I liked how the subtle bones pattern added some texture to the card design. The sentiment has been heat embossed with Black embossing powder onto the Parakeet Party sentiment label to coordinate with the focal image. I wanted to keep the design simple, so I chose to use the bats die to cut out several with the Bag of Bones Dies as embellishments for the card front. There is something almost sweet about this card design and I would like to think it would bring a smile to someone's face when they receive it.
