Stamping With Friends April Blog Hop Retiring Products

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends April Blog Hop as we say goodbye to our favorite retiring products from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. Our wonderful Design Team members will be sharing their projects and ideas with you as we say goodbye to our favorite retiring products. These retiring products are available only while supplies last, so if you see something that you like, make sure to order it soon to avoid missing out.
My card design today features retiring products from both the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. I love being able to mix and match different products to create unique card designs. The Fancy Flora 6"x6" Designer Series Paper has beautiful color combinations and fun patterns that work well with the more modern feel of the Hello Beautiful stamp set and coordinating Beautiful Shapes Dies. I love the feel of this stepped up clean and simple design and I will be sad to see these products retire.

Large Hexagon die cut with the Beautiful Shapes Dies
This card design is simple to create and is easy to assemble. To create the focal image, I stamped the large background image from the Hello Beautiful stamp set using Fresh Freesia Classic ink, onto the large Basic White hexagon. I then heat embossed the sentiment with Silver embossing powder on top of the stamped background. For the card front layer, I die cut the window with the medium size hexagon die towards the right side of the designer series paper. Using both the large and medium hexagon dies, I created a frame for the window using Orchid Oasis cardstock and then I attached the frame around the window. To assemble the card, I lined up the sentiment label with the window and attached it to the card base. I then attached the card front layer to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals, making sure that the sentiment is inside the window frame. To complete the card design, I added some 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds for a touch of bling.
