Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop as we share projects and ideas showcasing this month's theme "Monochrome Card Challenge". Our Design Team Members will be sharing projects and ideas using one of the Stampin' Up! colors of their choice to help inspire you.
My favorite Stampin' Up! color is Misty Moonlight, so it was an easy choice for my monochromatic card design. Using the new Ranunculus Romance Bundle from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog, I created a collage background with the images from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set using Misty Moonlight Classic ink on Basic White cardstock. My focal image was created by heat embossing the floral image onto a Misty Moonlight cardstock tag using White embossing powder and I added two detailed die cuts using the Ranunculus Dies from Misty Moonlight cardstock to create a contrast for the background. I love the vintage feel of this card design.

This card design showcases the wonderful images from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set. I used several of the images to create the background, creating different tones with first and second generation stamping. For the focal image, I heat embossed the floral image with White embossing powder onto the Misty Moonlight tag. I sponged over the top of the image with Misty Moonlight Classic ink and then wiped off the excess ink with a tissue. Using the Misty Moonlight Cotton Ribbon with the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding, I tied a knot at the top of the tag and trimmed the ends. I attached the detailed floral die cuts to the card front and added the focal tag on the left side of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals, covering the ends of the die cuts. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image using Versamark ink and Misty Moonlight Classic ink with Clear embossing powder, onto the Basic White oval. I stamped the leaf image around the edges of the oval, using second generation stamping, and then sponged the edges with Misty Moonlight Classic ink using a Sponge Dauber. I attached the Basic White oval onto the scalloped Misty Moonlight cardstock oval and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals To finish off the card design, I colored three small Basic Rhinestones with the Light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the card front for a touch of bling. This card design would work well for a variety of occasions and you could explore using other colors to create a whole new look to the design. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.
