Colour Combo May Blog Hop

Welcome to the Colour Combo May Blog Hop as we explore this month's color combination of Flirty Flamingo, Magenta Madness and Shaded Spruce. You will be visiting with talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects using this month's combination to help inspire you to step outside your comfort zone.
This month's color combination was a challenge for me and the card design I created was outside my comfort zone. I chose to use the new Artistically Inked Bundle from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create a pretty floral design using the images and dies from this bundle. I love the watercolor look of the stamp images and I was surprised at how well these colors came together.

The stamps in the Artistically Inked stamp set are simply amazing and have so much detail and wonderful texture. I love that this bundle includes dies that die cut the stamped images as well as provide detailed die cuts like the one I used to create the background design for my floral arrangement. It helped me with placement for the flowers and I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to add dimension and layers to the design. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder to coordinate with the Gold Foil, which helped step up the design. The Basic Rhinestones add a touch of bling to the card and I used Clear Wink of Stella on the flowers for a touch of shimmer to complete the design. The stamped background has a wonderful watercolor feel to it, without all the hard work. I love how this card turned out and I am looking forward to using this bundle with other color combinations to create new designs.
