2020 Kre8tors February Blog Hop Love

It's time to hop along with the 2020 Kreators February Blog Hop as we celebrate love and romance as our theme this month. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as they share their ideas and projects to help inspire you. I hope you enjoy our blog hop this month.
This cute Valentine's card features products from the From My Heart Suite in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog and I paired them with the Bonanza Buddies Bundle (item #153815). The adorable koala image is just the perfect size to fit inside the heart that I have punched from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper. I can't imagine anyone not loving this sweet Valentine, can you?
To create this card, I started with a Real Red cardstock card base and added a 5 1/4" x 4" layer of Whisper White cardstock for the background. I attached a 2"x 5 1/4" piece of the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #151189) to the left side of the Whisper White layer and added a piece of Real Red 3/8" Double Stitched Satin Ribbon (item #151155) along the seam.
For the focal image, I punched out one of the Flirty Flamingo Foil hearts from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper using the Scalloped Heart Punch from the Heart Punch Pack (item #151292). To create the koala, I stamped the image from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set onto Thick Whisper White cardstock using Smoky Slate Classic ink and added the face details using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die cut the koala image using the coordinating die from the Bonanza Dies. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I attached the koala image to the Flirty Flamingo Foil heart.
To create the arrow, I stamped the image from the Heartfelt stamp set (item #151417) onto Thick Whisper White cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I fussy cut out the image and cut the arrow in half to extend the length. I attached the arrow to the back of the foil heart using Snail Adhesive, position the two pieces so that they would line up on either side of the heart. I attached the heart to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals, centering it over the Real Red ribbon, towards the top of the card front.
The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White layer using Flirty Flamingo Classic ink and I added the small heart image with Real Red Classic ink. To complete the card design, I punched out a small heart from a scrap of Real Red cardstock using the Dog Builder Punch (item #148543) and added it to the middle of the koala with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional. I just love how this card design turned out and how much fun it was to create with these amazing products.
