Welcome to the March ICS One Last Sale-a-bration Blog Hop as we focus on the amazing Sale-a-bration promotion which will come to an end March 31st. We will be showcasing the amazing Level 1 and Level 2 Sale-a-bration products that you can earn for Free with a qualifying order during this wonderful promotion. I hope that our projects will help inspire you to explore these amazing products.
Today I thought I would create a card design with the Hello Cupcake (item #149714) Level 1 Sale-a-bration stamp set that can be earned Free with a qualifying US$50 order during Sale-a-bration. It is such a fun stamp set and great for all kinds of celebrations. Today I paired it with the New Call Me Cupcake Framelits (item #150072) that are available to purchase during the month of March or while supplies last. This set of framelits coordinates perfectly with the Hello Cupcake stamp set and means no more fussy cutting.
For my color palette, I chose colors from the 2018-2020 In Color Collection - Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch. I just love all the wonderful products that coordinate in these colors to make creating easy and stress free.
The card base was created with Lovely Lipstick cardstock and I added a layer of striped Lovely Lipstick designer series paper from the In Color 2018-2020 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Pack (item #146963). The cake stand was die cut from Silver Foil using the framelits dies and I stamped the cupcake images using Blueberry Bushel Classic ink for the cupcake base, Pineapple Punch Classic ink for the cake and Lovely Lipstick Classic ink for the frosting. The Call Me Cupcake Framelits dies have coordinating framelits to die cut each of these pieces. The lid of the cupcake stand was die cut from Whisper White cardstock.
To decorate the cupcake base, I die cut small hearts using the coordinating die from the framelit set from Lovely Lipstick cardstock. The sentiment was heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and punched out with the Story Label Punch (item #150076), another Sale-a-bration Coordination product that is available for a limited time.
I added a small bow created with the Pineapple Punch 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (item #146953) and attached it to the card front with a Mini Glue dot. For a touch of sparkle, I added Dazzling Diamonds (item #133751) to the frosting of the cupcake.
This bright and cheerful card design is so much fun to create and with the 2018-2020 In Colors, you have so many wonderful color combinations to choose from. Remember that Sale-a-bration ends March 31st, so don't forget to place your order take advantage of the great rewards. If you live in the U.S. and don't already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to help you.
Happy Stamping,
Tricia Butts
