2019 Kre8tors Bye Bye Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2019 Kre8tors Bye Bye Sale-a-bration Blog Hop as we share our projects and ideas featuring Sale-a-bration products that will soon be leaving us. Sale-a-bration ends March 31st, 2019, so now is the perfect time to get inspired and earn your favorite Sale-a-bration products for Free with a qualifying order. I hope that the projects we have to share will provide you with fun ideas to try.
Today I am sharing a project that I created using the Sale-a-bration Level 1 stamp set, Home To Roost (item #149736). This wonderful stamp set has a mix of country style images and thoughtful sentiments to help you create fun cards and projects. You can earn this stamp set for Free during Sale-a-bration by placing a qualifying US$50 order.
For my color palette for this card design, I chose to use Blueberry Bushel for my card base and I added a layer of Cajun Craze. I stamped a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Crackle Paint stamp set (item #148752) using Cajun Craze Classic ink. Using Tranquil Tide cardstock, I created a frame using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies (item #148551).
To create the focal image, I stamped the rooster image onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using Jet Black Stazon ink. I colored the rooster with a variety of colors using a Blender Pen and Classic ink pads. I fussy cut the rooster and attached it to the card front with Snail Adhesive.
To create the sentiment, I stamped it with Tranquil Tide Classic ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch as well as another piece from a scrap of Cajun Craze cardstock to layer behind the sentiment. To complete the sentiment, I layered it onto a scrap of Blueberry Bushel cardstock and trimmed it with Paper Snips. To finish off the card, I added a piece of 3/16" Braided Linen Trim (item #147808) to the card front and added the sentiment on top using Stampin' Dimensionals. I teased the trim to give it a frayed, distressed look. I just love the texture this trim adds to the card design.
This card has a rustic country feel to it and I love how these colors combine to create this design. Remember that you have until March 31st to take advantage of the rewards that you can earn for Free during Sale-a-bration.
