For my card, I chose to use two different Sale-a-bration products to create my design. I love the cute images in the Catching Butterflies stamp set and the sweet sentiments fit perfectly. I paired it with one of the Balmy Blue sheets of Simply Marbleous 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to create the look of the sky with clouds for the background of the card. To step up the design, I heat embossed the sentiment and butterflies with Gold embossing powder. This card design could be used for a variety of occasions and is sure to brighten someone's day.

The designer series paper sets the stage for this card design and I love how the marble pattern resembles a blue sky with clouds. It just seemed perfect for the design I had in my head. I stamped the image of the girl with the net onto the Basic White scalloped rectangle panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the girl with a variety of Stampin' Blends Markers, including Petal Pink for the skin, Mint Macaron for the dress and Soft Suede with Cinnamon Cider for her hair. I stamped the ground image below her feet with Gray Granite Classic ink and lightly colored below it with the Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blend Marker and blended it with the Color Lifter. I created the sky around the girl by masking off the scalloped edges of the rectangle with Post It notes and gently sponging the background with Pool Party Classic ink using a Sponge Dauber. I liked the way the masking kept the scallopes white to create a border for the focal image. I heat embossed the butterflies image onto the Balmy Blue Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper with Gold embossing powder and I also heat embossed the sentiment onto the Basic White label with Gold embossing. To embellish the card, I used the Brushed Brass Butterflies, adding one large one to the net and two smaller butterflies to the sentiment label. To complete the card design, I colored the girl's hair and dress with Clear Wink of Stella to add a touch of shimmer.
